* ActorAllusion: "Elephant Walk" wasn't the first time [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons a character played by]] Creator/NancyCartwright [[Recap/TheSimpsonsS5E17BartGetsAnElephant demanded an elephant]].

* TalkingToHimself:
** Creator/DeeBradleyBaker voices Og and Goat, who frequently speak to each other.
** Plus in "Night of the Living Ancestors", the characters speaking with the ghosts are basically talking to themselves.
** S. Scott Bullock voices Wendel and Baggis.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Creator/CartoonNetwork canceled the series after two seasons, despite it still having a rather significant fanbase (the series was never given its an adaptation in the ''Cartoon Cartoons'' comic books, even though many fans kept writing in and requesting it). Similar to ''WesternAnimation/SheepInTheBigCity'' after it, the second season suffered from a VERY stretched and sporadic release schedule. * ActingForTwo: Brian George voices the pirate captain and Haggis, the bos'n and Queeks are both voiced by Creator/CoreyBurton, and Martin Rayner voices both Alfred and the first mate.
