* TheMerch: During the last years they held the license to make DC figures, Creator/Hasbro released a line of action figures that was mostly KB Toys-exlcusive (with the last wave being at Toys 'R' Us) that was mostly repaints (and in some cases Franchise/Frankensteining) of figures from the Total Justice, Legends of Elseworlds Batman, Superman: The Man of Steel, Film/BatmanForever, Film/BatmanAndRobin, and Film/Steel toylinesOr in the Joker's case, a repaint of the WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries figure with a new head sclupt with the last few waves also acting as this for ComicBook/YoungJustice.
* SimilarlyNamedWorks: Both the final arc of this run and a tie-in for ComicBook/FiftyTwo are named "WorldWarIII".
* ToylessToylineCharacter: Hippolyta, Orion, Big Barda, Aztek, Oracle, Tomorrow Woman, and many members of Young Justice (outside of Red Tornado and the founding trio) never got toys in the JLA toyline. Additionally, the line had comic store-exclusive box sets that featured the majority of the holograms the Injustice Gang used to attack Star City, as well as Lex Luthor and the Joker. However, the Wonder Woman hologram, Luthor and Joker's Injustice Gang cohorts, and Darkseid (the GreaterScopeVillain of "Rock of Ages") never got figures--despite Darkseid also being the BigBad of the Total Justice toyline.
