* ExecutiveMeddling: According to John Fountain, who directed the first six episodes with series head-writer Kent Redecker, he was fired by Moonscoop despite getting Cartoon Network to greenlight the show as they were impressed by the pilot animatic he and Redecker pitched to the studio. Fountain also believed that the show's development suffered due to the difference between Eastern and Western style folklore, but was able to make it faithful to it's inspirational lore and make it palatable for American audiences by playing with the "weird" tropes the show possessed.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Various online sources provide material that has gone unused in the show. For instance, there have been [[https://ny.shihhengh.com/Hero-108-1 previously unseen characters and alternate turtle designs]] that haven't seen usage past the concept art stage, and the episode "Pitched Battle of The Air Force Part 2" has a storyboard that features a couple of deleted scenes such as the Twelve-Eyed Striped Dumbat attempting to capture Lin Chung after successfully taking his teammates ([[https://www.davidearl.ca/portfolio/?menu=Storyboards&tab=18&id=26&storyboard=98&image=208&nav=2&thumbs=true as seen here]]).

As it turns out, Hero: 108 has its own book series.

Added DiffLines:

* NoExportForYou: Besides the show, the toys and the now defunct MMO, ''Hero: 108'' also had a series of four books written by ''Tommaso Percivale'' (not to be confused with ''Tom Percival''). These books, however, were never released in English; the only known official prints are Italian (the original language), Spanish and Serbian.

Fucking what? Lasted I checked scaredy squirrel did not feature wars of any kind.

* DuelingShows: With fellow Cartoon Network series ''WesternAnimation/ScaredySquirrel'' as both shows are about animals going on war. But since ''Scaredy Squirrel'' [[InvisibleAdvertising does NOT have any merchandise]] and Cartoon Network screwed over during season 2, ''108'' wins this duel.
