Granted, there weren't many returning characters from the latter besides Ryuji and Onizuka himself, but still. The only returning actors in GTO were Creator/ShinichiroMiki, Creator/HisaoEgawa, Creator/YasunoriMatsumoto, and Creator/YuriShiratori in completely unrelated parts.
