* MilestoneCelebration:
** The game celebrates an Anniversary every 6 months, alternating between Anniversaries and Half Anniversaries. These events are usually denoted by the release of an extremely powerful meta-defining character, a major story event revolving around said character, a major content and quality-of-life update, and tons of free goodies.
** To celebrate the release of ''VideoGame/StellarBlade'', the official media accounts for both ''NIKKE'' and ''Stellar Blade'' posted artwork featuring Rapi, Anis and Neon with Eve and Lily. ''NIKKE'' also gave all players an additional 10 Advanced Recruit Vouchers.

* {{Nerf}}: While the game makes tweaks and adjustments frequently, one particularly notable example of a nerf happened ahead of the release of one of the game's most anticipated units: Red Hood. As the first ever anniversary unit, many were expecting her to be SSS-tier and compete with the likes of Scarlet and Modernia, as was showcased during the anniversary livestream showcasing how high her damage scaled with skills was maxed. While she still debuted as a strong unit, she wasn't quite as powerful as many were led to believe, and was thus not viewed as special as she should've been (especially seeing as she belongs to the rarest model of Nikkes in the game, coming out as mid-tier among them at best). Much arguing back and forth ensued among fans about whether or not her being stronger would unbalance the game if another SSS unit had been added, but Shift Up swiftly released a patch a week after Red Hood went live that doubled her damage numbers, showing they agreed fans had a fair point in demanding one of the most requested characters have a performance that reflected how special the occasion was. Suffice to say, she is now quite powerful and truly SSS-tier.

* ShoddyKnockoffProduct: It's possible to find ads online for a game called "LYSSA: Goddess of Rage" developed by Panoramik Games, which has very little to do with ''NIKKE'' but blatantly rips off its advertisements and artwork by shoving the characters through an AI image generator.

** There are different arrangements of face and body combinations for mass-produced Nikkes, making no two Nikkes exactly alike.

* WordOfGod: The game's director, Hyungsuk Yoo, revealed some additional lore tidbits pertinent to ''Red Ash'' in a December 2023 interview with Famitsu.
** Dorothy rarely fights at full strength to avoid sullying her clothes, but if she did fight at full strength she would surpass Scarlet and Red Hood in raw power, being the second strongest member of the Goddess Squad short of Liliweiss.
** Had the Goddess Squad continued to fight Anachiro during their first encounter Liliweiss would have defeated her, but would also have left them with grievous wounds. Liliweiss chose to evacuate instead because she needed the Squad to remain a shining beacon of hope for humanity.
** The ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann'' reference was inserted into Red Hood's character because it is a show that embodies romance and passion, which are also core elements of Red Hood's character.

Suffice to say, she is now quite powerful and truly SSS-tier.
