* ActingForTwo: With over 440 unique characters, but only over 240 voice actors for the Japanese voices, and over 200 voice actors for the English dub, it would be easier to list those who ''didn't'' voice two (or more!) different characters in this game.

** A special mention must go to Harmonized Winter Cordelia & Selena and Harmonized Bridal Adult Tiki & Young Tiki, as Creator/JulieAnnTaylor voices both of them for the former and Creator/MelaLee for both of them for the latter in the English dub. Each Harmonized Hero has a conversation to listen to, so in this case, both of them literally have conversations with themselves.

** Creator/BillyKametz, the English voice actor for Ferdinand Von Aegir, succumbed to colon cancer on June 9th, 2022, meaning that Ferdinand will have to be recast in the event that he ever gets a new variant, and his Tea Party variant was released in August 2023 with Creator/RiccoFajardo voicing him.

** Unplayable characters who don't have offensive in-battle Specials have activation quotes that cannot be heard without datamining. As of the "Closing In" update, base Bruno and [[spoiler:base Freyr]] are affected by this; Bruno only ever wields out-of-battle area-of-effect Specials that never trigger a Special quote, and [[spoiler:Freyr is completely unarmed]].

** While it's no surprise that Creator/JamiesonPrice plays Zephiel, the main antagonist of ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBindingBlade The Binding Blade]]'' and a character that is a usual typecast of his, the most surprising part is him also playing his younger variant seen in ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade The Blazing Blade]]'', where he was the young [[NiceGuy nice]] prince of Bern, a '''significant''' far, far cry from Price's typical LargeHam and/or RatedMForManly roles.

* OffModel:
** There was a minor error in Summer Gaius' attack artwork where he poses as if he's going to fire his arrow, but the bowstring itself is not actually drawn back, instead being left in the neutral position. This is fixed in the 1.6.0 update.
** At times a characters art will show them wielding a different weapon than what they default start off with. For example, [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheSacredStones Joshua]] and [[VideoGame/FireEmblemGaiden Saber]] wield weapons that look nothing like what they start off with (The Audhulma and a Slaying Sword respectively), with Saber's weapon even looking nearly identical to Joshua's despite being released months apart with different artists. A similar issue applies to Azura from ''Fates'' and Hilda from ''Three Houses'', as Azura's art has her wielding the Blessed Lance despite only having a Sapphire Lance, while Hilda's artwork depicts her wielding an ordinary Silver Axe instead of her personal Freikugel.
** A minor but funny one occurred with [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade Linus]]. Most of his artwork is fine, except for his default artwork, which had a small green spot on his chest for some reason. Fans noticed and quickly joked about it, as it seemed to be as a result of the artist missing a spot when finishing the design. Like with Summer Gaius, this was fixed a few weeks later in the next update.
** At the time of her release, Lilina's Summer variant, drawn by BUNBUN, looked really off compared to her previous ones. To start, her mouth was placed a bit too low on her face, and her nose was hardly visible, in addition to a lot of the shading/lining looking very unpolished than usual. It also doesn't help that her head in both her neutral and damaged art looked a bit too large. As a result, her art has since been updated with minor adjustments upon BUNBUN's request, just in time for the first ''Three Houses'' banner.
** Some of the heroes released early in the game's life have their artworks be inconsistent with their sprites. While artistic liberties only give most of them minor inconsistencies such as gloves being whole or fingerless or extra armor pieces being added, the most extreme example in ''Heroes'' is [[VideoGame/FireEmblemShadowDragonAndTheBladeOfLight Wrys]], where his artwork has him wearing [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fireemblem/images/a/a6/Wrys_Fight.png/revision/latest?cb=20170220024118 a closed robe with light-colored clothes and brown boots]], while his sprite has him wearing [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/fireemblem/images/6/62/Heroes_Wry_Sprite_%283%2A%2C_4%2A_%26_5%2A%29.png/revision/latest?cb=20180507131427 an open robe at the front with black clothes and boots]].

** Files for the colorless tome Atlas+ exist in the game, but no character (player or enemy) can wield it, not even in Aether Resort's Armory. When colorless tomes were introduced with Bramimond in 2020, Atlas+ was skipped over entirely.

* TalkingToHimself:
** A fair number of voice actors in both the English and Japanese version of the game voice numerous characters. With the right amount of characters, it's entire possible to make a team composition of characters voiced by one of the actors, like Creator/CheramiLeigh [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ310KhDChM Emblem]].

In the Japanese version, Creator/MinamiTakayama provides her with a mature, somewhat androgynous ContraltoOfDanger [[VocalDissonance that you wouldn't expect from simply looking at her]].

* AscendedFanon: Many, many pieces of ''Fire Emblem Awakening'' fanart have depicted Inigo in a {{Stripperific}} dancer outfit to match his mother's, since he is stated to be a dancer [[GameplayAndStorySegregation despite being incapable of being one in gameplay]]. The "Performing Arts" banner finally lets him be a fully fledged Dancer unit, complete with the aforementioned outfit.

* CharacterOutlivesActor: Creator/PhileceSampler, who would've served as TheOtherDarrin to Creator/LaniMinella for the role of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance Mia]] in 2020, died from a heart attack on July 1st, 2021. Creator/AnneYatco would eventually replace her as the voice for Mia when she got a young variant in 2022, despite Minella being alive and well. However, Sampler's other role (and her posthumous one), [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBindingBlade Niime]], needs to be recast in the event she gets a variant.

** Youthful wind mages Asbel and Lugh are voiced by Creator/RieKugimiya and Creator/JunkoTakeuchi, respectively.

** Files for the colorless tome Atlas+ exist in the game, but no character (player or enemy) can wield it, not even in Aether Resort's Armory.

** Practically ''everyone'' predicted that [[spoiler:the identity of Bruno is Zacharias]]. The game even somewhat [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] it by having the player character figure it out first and break their streak of being mostly passive and silent to point it out to the Askr Trio.

** After the silhouettes were dropped for the first Summer Banner of 2021, [[VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses Caspar]] was trending on Twitter, with users guessing that he's the right silhouette. The banner trailer confirms his inclusion the next day.

** Following previous ''Heroes'' villains, and [[spoiler:not appearing as an enemy unit for the majority of Book V]], players predicted that [[spoiler:Eitri was going to be a Green unit, more specifically a Green Tome unit]]. Sure enough, the "New Heroes & Ascended Laegjarn" trailer came out, that prediction was revealed to be proven true.

* MilestoneCelebration: To celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary, ''Heroes'' released special maps and missions. Later, the day of the anniversary introduces an event featuring younger versions of Marth, Caeda, Merric, Minerva, and the Whitewings.

** [[https://serenesforest.net/2019/05/21/belgium-fire-emblem-heroes-unavailable-27th-august-2019/ The game was shut down in Belgium on 8/27/2019]] since a Belgian law bans loot boxes in video games as a form of illegal gambling and Nintendo doesn't want to risk the gacha system falling under the same law and getting them fined.

* TheOtherMarty: Male Byleth's English version was voiced by Creator/ChrisNiosi and his lines were included in the mid-July 2019 Three Houses Banner release for ''Heroes'', [[RoleEndingMisdemeanor but after his breach of his NDA,]] he was replaced by Creator/ZachAguilar, and Male Byleth's voiced lines were replaced in update 3.7.1, just before his official release in ''Heroes'' alongside ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses''.

** As Creator/RokuroNaya had already passed away before the release of ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'', all of Gunter's lines are reused from said game.

** Creator/KirkThornton voices Dorcas and his Halloween variant, Surtr and his Pirate variant, Iago, and Yen'fay; he uses an alias for Iago, and is uncredited for regular Dorcas and both Surtrs. Halloween Dorcas and Yen'fay are properly credited.
