However, the role was actually played by John Foster, who is listed in the end credits as 'Pazzo'. A lot of the confusion arises from the fact that the killer is never actually named on-screen, leading many people to assume that Pazzo is a separate character. It doesn't help that Foster bears an uncanny resemblance to Clifford, and also never acted before or since.
