* BillingDisplacement: The DVD cover for the first season puts Creator/CarrieAnneMoss, who plays supporting character Lucille Scott (who only intermittently appears throughout the season) front-and-center. It makes sense from a marketing standpoint, since she's the most recognizable face thanks to ''The Matrix'', but it makes lead actor Cameron Daddo look like a supporting character in his own show (while completely omitting other notable character actors, like Kevin Dobson or Creator/RichardWaugh). The second season DVD mostly fixed this issue, with Daddo front-and-center and more characters from the cast being integrated (including Moss, again, who only shows up for a single episode in the season).

* ActorSharedBackground: Like Creator/BryanBrown before him, lead actor Cameron Daddo is of Australian background.

* BillingDisplacement / RetroactiveRecognition: On the DVD cover for the first season, Carrie-Anne Moss is featured front-and-center. Makes sense from a marketing standpoint since she's the most recognizable face thanks to ''The Matrix''. What was odd is that the distributors also chose to include two other female co-stars and completely excluded the two male leads making the cover look like some sort of ''Charlie's Angels'' rip-off.
* CaliforniaDoubling: The show is filmed in Toronto, but is ostensibly set in New York. Each episode ends with a camera shot of a two-story advertisement for ''Theatre/ThePhantomOfTheOpera'', which was playing ([[LongRunners and still is]]) in New York.
