IIRC you're not supposed to censor quotes that weren't published in a censored form.

* RoleEndingMisdemeanor: Subverted with the Wotcha writer, in that it was the role being ended that resulted in the misdemeanor: the Wotcha column was abruptly CutShort due to ExecutiveMeddling, and in response the Wotcha writer hid an obscene message in the last column. (To wit, the final column was an acrostic which spelt out "PANINI AND BBC WORLDWIDE ARE C***S", with multiple references on the same page to secret messages and things being "hidden in plain sight".)

* ScheduleSlip: "Evening's Empire" was originally planned to be published in #180-4 (November 1991-March 1992), but after the first part had been published the artist had a succession of issues that led to none of the later parts being ready by deadline. The entire strip was published as a one-off graphic novella in 1993, and #181-4 had a single new story without the Doctor or companion, and three reprint strips from the 1980s.

* AuhorsSavingThrow: Done pre-emptively. Alan [=McKenzie’s=] final story had an AssPull in which the bad guy is destroyed by a sudden storm, despite it earlier being established that it hadn’t rained in years, and a PlotHole in which shapeshifter Frobisher seemingly hadn’t attempted to escape a prison cell. So Artist John Ridgeway changed it so that the bad guy gets defeated by [[HoistByHisOwnPetard his terrible wiring skills causing an electrical surge]] and gave Frobisher a disease that gave him ShapeshifterModeLock.
