** It's implied that the shake ups of the Warner Brothers reorganizing affected several of the later output of the franchise, preventing them from telling some of the stories they wanted to in the series (most notably the exact make up of the Anittrix aliens and Bashmouth's species).

* ProductionPosse: The show reunites many people who worked with Man Of Action on the original Ben 10, ''WesternAnimation/GeneratorRex'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Ultimate Spider-Man}}'', and ''WesternAnimation/AvengersAssemble''

** Creator/JohnDimaggio replaces Jeff Doucette and David Kaye as Thumbskull, despite the latter being on the show playing Grandpa Max.

** David Kaye also replaces Dee Bradley Baker and John Dimaggio as Humungousaur
** Dee Bradley Baker replaces John Dimaggio as Rath. Ironically, in ''Alien Force/Ultimate Alien'', Rath was one of the two aliens ''not'' to be played by Dee Bradley Baker.

** In "Riding the Storm Out" Ben tampers with the Omnitrix and causes it to turn him into hybrids of his aliens, like the episode "Dr. Animo and the Mutant Ray".

** While not the original voices for the characters, John DiMaggio and Greg Cipes reprise roles as Four Arms and young Kevin from Ben 10 Omniverse.

* PostscriptSeason: TheMovie concluding Season 4 which introduced Azmuth and had Ben facing off against Vilgax was produced as the GrandFinale, similar to how the original series ended. However, the network ordered an additional three 1-hour specials constituting a "Season 5" afterward.

** The character of Kevin 11 is highly loved by the network due to having marketable "evil" versions of Ben's alien forms plus a new alien Bashmouth, which led to [[ExecutiveMeddling an additional 12 episodes all mandated to feature Kevin being ordered for Season 3 at the last minute]], and him showing up as a co-op option in the "Power Trip" video game despite having no bearing on that game's story whatsoever. If this still isn’t enough for you, Kevin got lost in a vortex in order to trap Forever Knight, only for the crew to just write him back into the show anyway as of “The Monsters in Your Head” (barely a full season later) like it was nothing. Creator’s Pet at its finest.

* CastTheRunnerUp: Creator/TaraStrong almost didn't reprise the role of 10 year old Ben. Creator/YuriLowenthal, who voiced teenage Ben in the original series' three sequel series, auditioned for the role. While Tara got the role, he would later be cast as [[spoiler:Vilgax]] and (starting in his 2nd appearance) Michael Morningstar.

** Creator/JoshKeaton voices [=XLR8=] and Acid Breath, replacing Jim Ward and Yuri Lownthal for the former , and Dee Bradley Baker for the latter .

** In the Italian dub, Gabriele Patriarca replaces Daniele Raffaeli as Ben, albeit he already voiced him in the first live action movie, ''Film/Ben10RaceAgainstTime''. Going further, for a single episode he was further replaced by Riccardo Suarez.

** Roger Craig Smith voices Steam Smythe, a wise, middle-aged villain. Despite the fact that he’s known primarily for voicing youthful heroes, including this series' Diamondhead.

** A Sunday-Friday premiere bomb started airing on September 13, 2020... at 7:00AM. No reruns of these episodes were aired either. At the very least, the batch of episodes were decently-advertised.

* AscendedCanon: Ben having a form based on [[spoiler:Vilgax]] was something many a fan had hypothesized/created before it became canon to the reboot.

** It was also a common theory since the original series that the Omnitrix was some kind of [[AndIMustScream heinous imprisonment]] that wholly absorbed aliens. Vilgax being split from his power and it being stored in the Omnitrix seems reminiscent of this line of thinking, and later [[spoiler: we see it proven even more with Glitch and Shock Rock]].

He also replaces Drake Bell as Michael Morningstar, another villain. And in TheMovie, he [[spoiler: replaces Steve Blum in a villainous role again, as Zs'Skayr.]]

* WritersCannotDoMath: Shock Rock being claimed as the “11th” Omnitrix alien in the special two-parter seemed to be a pure marketing stunt, because it objectively makes no sense. Gax was actually the 11th alien, before being re-absorbed by Vilgax and leaving him locked in the Omnitrix. In fact, if you want to get specific about the number of available transformations, Upgrade was killed off when Ben first rebooted the Omnitrix. Therefore, Shock Rock is more or less the new 10th.

** The narrator of the [[AllThereInTheManual Alien World]] shorts is heavily implied to be [[spoiler:Azmuth]], making Creator/DavidKaye the fourth person to play him after [[spoiler:Robert David Hall, Creator/JeffBennett, and Creator/ReneAuberjonois]]. In TheMovie concluding Season 4, he received yet another voice actor: Creator/TomKenny.

** As of May 2020, it only gets one airing, let alone one rerun, on Sundays at 8:00am. It aired on Boomerang until July 2020 where it was replaced with more ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerryTales''.
