** He initially wanted to do a Bad Movie Beatdown episode on ''Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice''. But following the suicide of [[Creator/ZackSnyder Zack Snyder's]] daughter, Mathew thought that doing such a negative review would be in bad taste.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Mathew wanted to review the film ''Film/{{Torque}}'', but after finding out that the creators intended for the movie to be stupid and over the top, he decided not to.

Clearly he forgot about the scene in ''Film/TheLivingDaylights'' where 007 stages a fake assassination. Also, Bond having to shoot an ally for real has ''never'' happened in any of the films.

** He's shown disdain towards his overly sarcastic performance during his 2013–2014 videos, going so far as to re-record his voice-overs with a more natural delivery when uploading his old videos to [=YouTube=].

** Though he's grateful for the audience it gave him and the fellow content creators he met over the years, nowadays Mathew would thank people to ''not'' ask about his past involvement with Channel Awesome.
