* Corpsing: Tom Bergeron was surprisingly able to keep a straight face during almost all of the funny videos shown. However, one episode had a montage featuring cats having black bars placed over their private areas, which caused Bergeron to lose it completely.

* OldShame: It's possible the Fuentes/Fugelsang era is this, as those episodes aren't shown on television anymore. Also, during the 20th-Anniversary special (where Bob Saget returned), neither Fuentes nor Fugelsang were invited to intend, and neither were acknowledged at any point during the special. Bergeron did briefly mention them during the "300th Show" special, and some clips of their host segments were shown, but that was it.

* HeyItsThatGuy: Yes, Carlton is replacing Tom Bergeron.
** Bergeron himself was known as the host of the Whoopi Goldberg and "H2" eras of Series/TheHollywoodSquares, and after that, Series/DancingWithTheStars (yuck).
* HeyItsThatVoice: All three announcers have had famous voices: ABC staff announcer Ernie Anderson (who did lots of promos for the network over the years), Gary Owens of Series/RowanAndMartinsLaughIn fame (or if you like cartoons, original Space Ghost and Commander Ulysses Feral), and voice actor Creator/JessHarnell.

*** Since the switch to HD is mandatory now, Creator/WGN screwed up the show's display on reruns. For starters, they replaced the show's opening and ending titles with new custom-made versions, the hosting segments are now cropped for 16:9 picture format, but the actual home videos are squished to fit in the same format. It's very disorienting.

** According to one of the show's writers, Daisy Fuentes actually was invited to the 20th anniversary special, but she couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts. John Fuglesang was not invited though primarily because for several years now Fuglesang has become more of a controversial and political comedian, and the producers didn't want that stigma following him on the show.
