* TechnologyMarchesOn: The English localization of the franchise first came out in 2005 and had the series take place a decade in the future to explain the strange difference in court systems. The first game was originally released in Japan in 2001 so the technology presented in the English games tend to be rather outdated.

Actually, "it took this long to release this thing" doesn't really fit "No Export For You" at all if the thing actually got released.
** ''Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney'' for DS -- Japan and US got it in 2005, Europe in 2006, but Australasia didn't get it until March 8, '''2007'''. ** ''Trials and Tribulations'' for DS -- Europe got it a year after the US, still no official Australasia release.

Australia got Dual Destinies and the trilogy on the eShop the same time as other English releases. And while Australia got the first game later than the US and Europe, it was certainly not as late as 2009. (Wikipedia says 2007, which sounds about [W]right to me.)

** Original trilogy 3DS rerelease -- April 2014 for Japan, December 2014 for US and Europe, and unknown for Australia. ** ''Dual Destinies'' -- again, not even a mention of an official Australasian release. ** ''Ace Attorney Investigations'' -- western release was almost a year behind Asia releases. ** ''Gyakuten Kenji 2'' -- released 2011 in Japan, still zero plans to export anywhere despite the major demand for it; only fan-dubbed versions are available in English.

** Even [[Film/AceAttorney the movie]] isn't exempt -- the DVD and Blu-ray was released Q3-2012 for Japan, and Q2-2013 saw subbed releases for only Germany and Australia. To clarify: they made one foreign sub for all of Europe, and still haven't allowed a USA/EU release ''despite already making and releasing a version with English subs.''
