* In Series/BlueBloods Danny and Jackie are forced to shelter a witness in Jackie's home and Danny is surprised to find signs of femininity from a tough-as-nails cop. There's a similar scene on Series/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnit when Benson and Stabler go to FBI Agent Dana Lewis' apartment and find it decked out in pink.
* In Series/BrooklynNineNine, Det. Rosa Diaz may be an aggressive and surly take-no-crap Lad-ette who loves motorcycles and violence, but she was a classical dancer and trained in ballet at the American Ballet Academy for some time, loves the series Series/GilmoreGirls, and does yoga in her spare time.
* Series/CriminalMinds: In "Proof", DamselInDistress Tammy Bradstone is a baseball player who talks about the number of home runs she hit, but she is also very excited about her homecoming dress and dyes her hair to look better for the dance.
* On Series/DancingWithTheStars Chelsie Hightower is said to be a tomboy by just about anyone who meets her. Then we remember; she is a ballroom dancer, which is about as girly as it gets.
* Series/Everwood: Delia is a cute tomboy girl who loves sports and wears baseball caps and the like, but she gets excited when she's promised a pony. She later has more typically feminine interests once she befriends GirlyGirl Brittany.
* Series/Firefly: Kaylee is Serenitys mechanic. She is a very talented, intuitive, and natural engineer, despite her lack of formal training. She's usually unkempt, covered in engine grease and she wears grey, dark-green clothes, but she also usually sports at least one bright item, e.g. a pink shirt. She's also interested in 'girly' stuff, such as a pink frilly dress or pretty parasols.
* Series/Friends: Monica, despite being bossy, competitive, loud, extremely strong, and the most athletic of the girls, is also very domestic, longs for a family and children, and loves cleaning and cooking.
* Series/TheGoodPlace: Eleanor is a hyper-sexual, alcoholic, foul-mouthed, strong-willed and uncouth Lad-ette who enjoys watching women's UsefulNotes/ixedMartialArtsMA, but she also enjoys celebrity gossip, keeping up with Kendall Jenner's Instagram feed as well as her entire family tree, and Series/TheRealHousewives of Atlanta. She also takes pride in her own beauty and brags about her hotness very frequently. Her outfits when she was alive also tended towards the girly, if somewhat trashy, side.
* Series/GullahGullahIsland: Ron and Natalie's tomboyish niece Vanessa once stated to be a girly girl in the Season 1 episode "Please Don't Eat the Alstons".
* Series/Heartbeat has Rosie the Mechanic, often grease-stained and sweetly direct in her manner, but Scrubs up Nicely and isn't scared to be seen in pink - occasionally.
* Series/HouseOfAnubis has Patricia. She's stubborn and gothic, never backs down from her problems, and is often called a 'witch' by the other members in her House. However, she is close friends with girly-girls like Joy and Amber, seems to have an interest in fashion, and in the The Touchstone Of Ra, the first time she was ever seen wearing a dress, while she only did it to impress Eddie and tended to complain about it, she was also worried about going into the cellar, because the dress could get ruined. She then added, "ICantBelieveImSayingThis Did I really just say that?"
* Series/HowIMetYourMother: Robin is this, being a gun-toting, scotch-drinking Canadian who was raised as a son by her father but eventually rebelled as a teenager. As a result, she has an odd mix of masculine and feminine traits. For example, she was a hockey player as a teenager and frequently goes to the shooting range. But she was also a teen pop star and fashion icon.
* Series/IAmNotOkayWithThis: Syd is a short-haired lesbian girl who doesn't really care about stereotypically feminine things, though she's not averse to them either, dolling herself up for the school dance.
* Series/Leverage: Parker The Thief specializes in breaking and entering and hanging over buildings by her fingertips. As such, it's not often she'll be seen in a skirt / dress and heels (as she was in "The Studio Job").
* An episode of Series/LizzieMcGuire reveals that the BrawnHilda of a gym teacher has a secret hobby of going swing dancing on the weekends, as well as sewing her own dresses. The dresses are also pink.
* P.J. from Series/MyBoys knows how to dress up for the occasion and admits to Stephanie that she sometimes enjoys being feminine for a night. But in general, she loves poker, sports, and drinking.
* Jennifer "Moze" Mosely from Series/NedsDeclassifiedSchoolSurvivalGuide may be tough-as-nails, aggressive, PassionateSportsGirl, and OneOfTheBoys, but she still has some girly interests, such as shopping and going to the spa. She also has a crush on a cute boy from her school and wants to find female friends because she's tired of being always OneOfTheBoys.
* Stevie Budd on Series/SchittsCreek is a tomboy who dresses in jeans and flannel, goes hunting, and wears little makeup, but puts on dresses occasionally, likes the beauty products at Rose Apothecary, and shows a flirty and demure side with Emir.
* Series/StrangerThings:
** Eleven, due to being raised in a lab as a guinea pig, had no concept of girliness and her buzzcut hairdo causes a few people to mistake her gender. When Mike gives her the opportunity to be a normal girl, Eleven is delighted especially at the pink dress and blonde wig. Seeing herself in the mirror, she only says one word: “Pretty”.
** Maxine or "Max" from Season 2 is even more boyish than Eleven given she skates, plays at the arcade, and dresses up as Michael Myers for Halloween. However, Max still happily puts on a dress for the Snow Ball and shyly dances with Lucas. Season 3 up's her femininity even more--while still a tomboy full of piss and vinegar, she's shown doing things like enjoying shopping, dancing to pop music, reading teen magazines, and fawning over Ralph Macchio.
* Some Franchise/SuperSentai females have been this, such as Juri/Oh Yellow and Mako/Shinken Pink.
* It happens in Franchise/PowerRangers too.
** Tori of Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm is an ActionGirl and pro surfer who is not amused when her friends neglect to mention a cute guy showing interest in her.
---> Tori: You don't get it either. I'm a girl. Girrl.\\
Dustin: Yeah, I know, but - like, you're not a girl-girl.\\
Shane: You're like a guy-girl.\\
Kelly: My advice to you both? Stop trying to make it better, 'cause it's only getting worse.
** Izzy from Series/PowerRangersDinoFury is TheBigGirl and a competitive athlete who avoids skirts and dresses, preferring a suit for formal occasions. However, when she's in love, she starts styling her hair and wearing perfume, and in one episode, she manages to help her mom make a lovely dress for Fern.
* Series/TwoBrokeGirls: Max is a tough, snarky, streetwise lad-ette with a TomboyishName who grew up poor, but she enjoys baking and sells homemade cupcakes from the diner where she works. She's also into boys like Caroline.
* In one episode of Series/Warehouse13, when Myka's stuff finally arrives at the B&B and she feels more at home, she puts on some classical music and starts ballet dancing around her room. Pete sees this and comments "She's been affected by an artifact that makes her act like a girl!"
* Series/WeAreWhoWeAre: Caitlin's interests are mostly sports, she hangs with her dad or brother frequently and she enjoys dressing in boyish attire very often. At the same time, however, she's not entirely averse to also wearing more traditional female attire and still wears her hair long (it's put up when she dresses in the boyish way).
* Series/XenaWarriorPrincess: Xena is great at embroidery, while also being a badass female warrior. She's a woman of many skills. Somewhat justified in that she was injured for a long time and sewing is a sedentary task useful for both repairing one's own clothes and equipment, and as an exercise in precision and patience.
