** Among the Guardians Drax TheBigGuy seems get this the most. He has won some fights such as against Korath, but the rest of the time poor Drax cannot catch a break having jobbed to Ronan, Tony, Thanos and Adam Warlock

* ''Film/BlackPanther'':
** A heroic example comes from T'Chala in the first waterfall fight against M'Baku, where he's explicitly BroughtDownToNormal and yet still manahes to defeat the Jabari Tribe chief.
** However the same set-up is used to empathise Killmonger's skill as he's able to decidedly beat T'Chala in their duel and almost kills him by throwing him off the waterfall.

* ''Film/BlackPantherWakandaForever'' has devastating case with Namor. The previous films have effectively demonstrated Wakanda is nigh-impenetrable with Killmonger needing to talk his way in and Thanos needing his invading fleet. Namor by comparison, is able to effortlessly breach its defences to Shuri and Ramonda's horror when Namor first appears to them and later on Namor is able to flood Wakanda out of nowhere after one of his subjects was killed. Not to mention Namor's strength is so great he can one-shot M'Baku and even cut through Vibarnium with his own Vibarnium-laced spear, a feat of strength only Thanos has achieved before.

* Overlapping with ButForMeItWasTuesday in ''Film/AntManAndTheWaspQuantumania'' Kang casually mentions he's decimated the Avengers countless times as a MultiversalConqueror and nonchalantly refers to Thor (the character we've seen smash cites, crack a small planet and kick Thanos's ass) as "the one with the hammer".

* ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3'': Adam Warlock makes his debut kicking seven kinds of shit out of Drax, Nebula, Groot, Mantis, Peter and Rocket with Rocket being mortally wounded by him. Nebula manages debilitate him with a HotBlade but it doesn't kill him, only forces him to retreat. Not mention it's revealed [[BornAsAnAdult he only just hatched]], ''this is his baby strength!''

* ''Film/SpiderManNoWayHome'' makes sure to show that Spidey's RoguesGallery for all their gimmicks are nothing to scoff at, even by the standards of the MCU. Doc Ock overpowers an Iron Spider-Suit wearing Peter and would've killed him if not for the nanotech saving Spidey's life. The Lizard not only wounds Dr Strange off screen [[spoiler: but takes on multiple versions of Spider-Man in the climax]]. Electro immediately overwhelms MCU Spidey in his first scene and Peter needs Sandman's help in defeating him [[spoiler: and by the climax Electro manages overpowers both the Raimi and Webbverse Spider-Men and would've killed them if not for Doc Ock's HeelFaceTurn]]. The most glaring example however is Green Goblin who brutalises MCU Spidey (whom we've seen stagger Thanos BTW) in their first fight and even gets the jump on Doctor Strange, sneaking a Pumpkin Bomb onto the Spell Cube, blowing it up and nearly killing the sorcerer [[spoiler: and damaging the multiverse in the process.]]
* ''Film/DoctorStrangeInTheMultiverseOfMadness'': [[spoiler:Following her studying of the Darkhold, Wanda manages to nearly level Kamar-Taj, brutally overpower Doctor Strange and [[CurbStompBattle near-effortlessly massacre]] [[RedShirtArmy five out of the six]] members of ComicBook/TheIlluminati of Earth-838 Captain Carter, Captain Marvel (Maria Rambeau), Blackbolt, Mr Fantastic and even Professor Charles Xavier himself (whom defeated Thanos and killed Doctor Strange in their universe). It's only due to a zombie Doctor Strange, HeelRealization and destruction of Wundagore Mountain (where the Darkhold's Runes came from) that Wanda is ultimately defeated.]]

* In ''Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar'', franchise newcomers Film/{{Black Panther|2018}} and [[Film/SpiderManHomecoming Spider-Man]] both take on powerful heroes and win; the former chases Captain America, Falcon, and Bucky across Bucharest and only stops when all four are arrested, and the latter steals Captain America's shield, catches Bucky's metal fist with one-hand, webs both him and Falcon to the floor, and [[spoiler:even comes up with the plan to take down Giant-Man]]. Both show how powerful they are and that they are able to go toe-to-toe with the other Avengers. However in ''Film/SpiderManHomecoming'' Tony claims to Peter that if Cap wanted to lay him out in one on one he would have been able to.

Peter's apparently ''stronger'', but Cap has much more experience.

* In the first act of ''Film/ThorRagnarok'', Hela quickly kills [[spoiler: Volstagg, Fandral and Hogun]] from the previous [[Film/{{Thor}} two]] [[Film/ThorTheDarkWorld movies]] to show how deadly she is. She also wields and subsequently destroys [[DropTheHammer Thor´s most trusted weapon, the hammer Mjolnir]] in her ''first scene'' before hijacking the Bifrost as Thor and Loki escape and throwing them off to Sakaar.
