** In ''Film/TheMonsterSquad'', when the main character asks his dad if he can go see Groundhog Day 12 and the dad says it's just about a crazy guy with an axe, the Critic immediately thinks of BillMurray as an axe murderer and admits that a movie like that would be pretty cool.

** At the end of her ''Film/JurassicPark'' review, Tamara hopes to avert this; love every film she sees and be relentlessly optimistic. Even when she's not really into ''Film/TheDarkCrystal'', she still respects most of the puppet work. And though the tree rape scene in ''Film/TheEvilDead1981'' makes her stab the wall, she manages that it was entertaining, just with a ton of issues. In the Just Saw of ''Boss Baby'', she's glad for Cody calling stuff out because she feels she always has to put on a smiley face.

** Tamara wasn't really into ''Film/TheDarkCrystal'', finding it boring and a lot of the characters annoying, but she admired all the puppet work.

** Inverted in Tamara's case, as she's never seen ''Series/GameOfThrones'' but has read the ''Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire'' books.

* AffirmativeActionLegacy: In Tamara's ''Back To The Future 3'' review, she relays that Michael J Fox would like a girl to play his role in a reboot, and thinks it's great that he said that.

** Tamara does a mini one in ''Ferris Bueller's Day Off'' because she's actually sick and Ferris is faking it.

** In her vlog on ''Back to the Future II'', Tamara "throws out" that Michael J. Fox is a really cute woman.

** Tamara makes fun of it in ''Film/TheEvilDead1981'', imitating how every woman in the movie who is meant to be scared just grips their hair and yells.

** Unintentionally in Tamara's Never Seen of ''Film/TheDarkCrystal'', as she starts saying she's going to watch ''Film/IndianaJonesAndTheLegendOfTheCrystalSkull'' before admitting she always gets the titles mixed up.

** The joke of ''Tamara Has Seen'', where the title is one movie she's watched (like ''Film/ThePhantomMenace'') but she describes the plot of another movie (like ''Disney/BeautyAndTheBeast'').
** In the beginning of ''Film/BigTroubleInLittleChina'', Tamara asks Doug if he wants to watch it with her, and he starts off with "HOW DARE YOU NOT WATCH" before admitting he hasn't either.

** In ''Film/JurassicPark'', Tamara is in love with Jeff Goldblum and wants more movies with him in it. Cue a load of comments telling her to watch ''Film/TheFly1986''. When she actually watches that she calls them out.

** Tamara gets genuinely angry at the tree rape scene in ''Film/TheEvilDead1981'', partly because it's a pointless scene that doesn't further the plot at all. Also she's not as pissed off, but still gets annoyed at the slave girl scene in ''Film/ArmyOfDarkness'', arguing that what could skeletons even do with them.

** In ''Film/TheFly1986'', when a car outside her house goes by for the third time, Tamara shouts it complete with Darth Vader picture.

** "I'll Be Home For Christmas" has Critic have a thinly veiled rant about Drumpf supporters, saying he's terrified and will fuck up but will try to help and be kind, but Chester has found love. Summed up in Critic's last line:

* BondageIsBad: In her ''It'' review, Tamara brings up that consensual kink can go wrong, it doesn't always have to be "spanking = evil".

* BreakTheCutie: The children in the abuse family all react differently to their AbusiveParents. Red jumpsuit girl cries, clings onto a teddy bear and rocks in the corner, the tomboy girl attempts to be good but has a PottyFailure when she's afraid, and the Malcolm child goes creepy and right wing. And as Tamara/Doug like the idea of Hyper being the much older sister, she comes pre-broken.

And as Tamara/Doug like the idea of Hyper being the much older sister, she comes pre-broken.

** Tamara already wasn't very happy about the sexism in ''Film/TheEvilDead1981'', but she gets pretty screechy (if justifiably so) while getting to the tree rape. She then unleashes some rage.

** Doug's voice makes a cameo in Tamara's review of ''Film/TheFly1986'', for some reason taking a shower in her house.

** Tamara has "Hi I'm Tamara Chambers and this is Tamara's Never Seen!".

** Likewise, Tamara's dad watches her series and wishes she didn't say the f word so much. Of course after saying this in ''Film/TheDarkCrystal'', she shouts that Jen is so '''fucking''' awkward.

* Devil Boner is only in the ''Film/DemolitionMan'' review for a minute.

* CreepyCockroach: Tamara reveals in the "Creepshow" vlog that she has a shuddering terror of beetles and bugs and can't even watch ''Film/{{Beetlejuice}}''.

* CuteKitten: Tamara's cats make plenty of appearances in her Never Seen series, to the point where she apologizes if Ike can't be around. In her review of ''Film/TheBlairWitchProject'', Wendy starts screaming for attention and Tamara picks her up while Malcolm strokes her.

* BrosBeforeHoes: In “Did Tom And Jerry Kill Themselves”, the main thing he takes from ''Blue Cat Blues'' is not the grim punchline (which he likes but can see why it upsets people) but the use of this sexist trope in a kid's cartoon.

** Hyper (along with Tamara) cosplays [[Franchise/ScoobyDoo Velma Dinkley]] as she had said she wanted to do in her Q&A video. Her calling Deivl Boner to imitate Scooby Doo also calls back to her likening him to her pet dog in the Q&A video.

** Hyper Boner in ''Cinderella Old vs New'' have a couple, like being proud of the other one kidnapping Critic (much to his annoyance), her writing porny fanfic about him and being ''quite'' happy with his penis gun. In ''Freddy vs Jason'', they have loud offscreen sex in front of Critic, and he calls that "battle" a draw. ''Evil Dead Old Vs New'' implies they take Critic hostage regularly to bond with each other.

* CharacterFocus: The whole point of the show is to be a character piece for Critic, but "Old vs New: Cinderella'' especially focuses on the different ways he was abused by his parents vs Hyper being abused by Aunt Despair.
