What follows is a vicious shouting match, Macaque [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech angrily calling out Monkey King for not listening to him and chasing his obsession for power with no regards for consequence, accusing him of only ever doing it for himself]] -- with MK and present day Macaque painfully watching the memory play out. The worst part is that there’s no tricks or misunderstandings leading to their bond crumbling...just both their flaws and bitterness driving them apart. It’s telling that it ends with Macaque crushing the peach he tried to give Monkey King.
