After having been subjected to sexualised violence, part of Max now finds Warren's [[{{Adorkable}} clumsy but good-natured]] flirtation scary and threatening, even though it's clear she views him as a NiceGuy and cares about him. What [[spoiler: Jefferson]] did to her has clearly left scars that will take a long time to heal.

* Depending on your opinion of him, watching [[spoiler:Nathan get pummelled by Warren, to the point of ''breaking down into tears and begging for him to stop'']] was a strong pull on the heartstrings. Especially since it comes out of the blue and he was acting tough and domineering as usual just moments before. It shows that [[HiddenDepths Nathan is probably much more fragile than he acts]].

* The version of Warren who turns up during the NightmareSequence: a [[EntitledToHaveYou possessive]], abusive JerkJock. After having been subjected to sexualised violence, part of Max now finds Warren's [[{{Adorkable}} clumsy but good-natured]] flirtation scary and threatening, even though it's clear she views him as a NiceGuy and cares about him. What [[spoiler: Jefferson]] did to her has clearly left scars that will take a long time to heal.

* Max's nightmare is warped perspective of feelings she internalizes or assumes about the people around her. In Locker Maze, [[spoiler: nightmare morely focused on people who harmed her,threaten her,whom she feels guilty for and also her fears, what has she done at some point.Jefferson was depicted as his real self, albeit with his evil and creepy traits exaggerated.He shows his true side, talking to Max in a very dark and creepy manner. Later he is the first of the people searching for Max, saying how he wants to take her back to the Dark Room.For Warren, his role in here was desperate guy with a crush,his insistence morely exaggerated with dark personality.It was showing that she's frustrated and tired of Warren's insitence,and people outright assuming that Warren is her "boyfriend" or that she should reincorporate his affection for her just because he likes her, usually with no thought toward how she might feel about the idea. It also supports the idea that she thinks Warren is immature because of how exaggerated his persona is in her nightmare. For David, she was feeling guilty for what has she done to him especially if Joyce kicks him out;he makes hurtful comments the dialogue clearly meant to play on Max's conscience again.For Samuel,he was insulting Max for her being nosy for snooping around his room.For Principal Wells,he makes comments about his alcoholism, and is alerting the school about Max being on the run; he blames her for the deaths of both Rachel and Chloe. He also appears as one of the searchers in the maze scene, wishing he had given Max's scholarship to Victoria also makes comments about Paralyzed Chloe and why he didn't accept her scholarship.Nathan is also seen as a threatening figure throughout the nightmare,he said many things to hurt to Max by mentioning her insecurities and especially if player let him beaten, she was also morely feeling guilty over it.For Frank, since he had also threatened Max when they met for the first time (and also found out what happened to Rachel,and Frank's connection to it) [[spoiler:And if player let Frank die in their playthroughs]] [[spoiler:she was showing her fear towards him and he was also making hurtful comments to Max by using her insecurities&guilt.]]

Max and Chloe heartfeltly hug or kiss, and Chloe delivers what might just be the single most heartwrenching thing you could ever stand to hear anyone say before losing them forever:]]

Max was friends with Victoria! William was alive! All stopped because of one mistake by some random driver.]]

** Then there's the unfinished letter in the garage, where [[spoiler: he tells Joyce he's sorry that he can't explain himself to her if she kicks him out, and that he would never intentionally try and hurt their family. He wishes he could tell her what is actually going on in Arcadia Bay but needs more proof. He also shows guilt for Kate's suicide attempt happening under his watch, and is upset that Chloe hates him.]]
