* Percy yelling at Scanlan is also this. Despite the harsh words that Percy uses, he tells Scanlan to ''actually get to know Kayleth'' rather than making promises that he can't keep, and telling him that they do love him. He also gives him the advice to value Kayleth and brings up his parents' names in response to his question about his mother's name. Even after all this time, and after taking his revenge on the Briarwoods, he still misses his family deeply and he's telling Scanlan to value his family too while they're still here.
