* Gwyn's gradual mental deterioration due to a combination of Dante constantly proving their calculations - which had never been wrong before - incorrect, a subconscious obsession clashing with a loner conscious and the almost purely logical Gwyn being unable to understand the almost purely abstract Dante.

* Ranjiro after his battle with Lain. He not only has his bey destroyed, but his arm gets badly injured to the point he cannot enter the Legends Tournament anymore, something he was ''really'' looking forward to. Ranjiro put everything he had into entering, even defeating his older brother Rantaro in battle which is implied to be the first time he's ever won against him.

* Lain has been trying to increase his Flare to the limit so that it'll be satisfied and therefore fade away. He thinks that by beating Shu, he'll be able to finally rest. After initially losing, Lain upgrades Vex Lucius to Lucius Endbringer and handily defeats his mentor... only to find that his Flare has not left him at all. Cue Lain destroying a stadium in his abandoned factory in a mix of rage and despair, having no idea what to do next and beginning to suffer a Flare-induced identity crisis.
--> '''Lain''': Why... ''why''... '''''why?!''''' ...I beat Valt, Aiger, Dante, and even Shu Kurenai. Legend after legend, I crushed them all, but for some reason my thirst still isn't quenched? '''Why''' isn't it enough?! ''What is it?'' What do I have to do for my Flare to finally rest?!?

* In the past, Pax had pushed his body too far and was forced to retire from Beyblading with a severe arm injury. The doctor told him that he was likely to never make a full recovery, resulting in him losing pretty much everything he had loved and worked towards. Eventually he forced himself back in via a protective gauntlet, though perhaps due to having crippled his arm beforehand, Pax had no care whether he broke himself or not in pursuit of unleashing the greatest elemental power. Then his battle with Bel happened. Pax having a vision of him as his younger self with Pri, and in his non-blader attire meeting and bonding with Pandemonium. Before this, he had find out that his arm had fully healed despite what he had been told. Simply put, Pax was finally able to move on from his mental trauma. Talk about a revival! Overlaps with Heartwarming.

* Geist Fafnir getting destroyed by Dread Phoenix. Breaking someone's Bey is one thing, but for it to happen to the former No.1 Blader in the world is entirely another. Normally, Valt would have cheered on Free, but when [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness he yells for him to get out of there]], you know things are bad.

How broken and distraught Free sounds after Fafnir's destruction doesn't help, especially since it's the only time he is ever reduced to that.

* The loss of Hikaru and Rantaro against Dante and Lui. While this battle is all about sportsmanship and fun unlike final battles against antagonists, the loss still hit the two really hard. Rantaro is a recognized legend yet he's still the one to fall first even after many years. Hikaru trained significantly harder than Hyuga, put a lot of effort into planning and strategizing, and did his best to pick up as much as he can from his previous legend encounters, yet one loss and he's now out of the tournament.
