* The MCU seems to make it its job to make Wanda's life more miserable in every each installment she appears. After being separated with Vision in ''Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar'', she did manage to had some sort of stability in life, which came crashing when Thanos' disciples targeted Vision for his Space Stone, and despite Vision's insistence for her to leave him for her own safety, Wanda didn't want that to happen and kept insisting to stay by his side, until eventually she had to come with the fact that in order to stop Thanos, she had to destroy the Space Stone, and Vision with it. Throughout the process of her destroying the Stone, you can definitely see Wanda tearing up to no end to do what must be done, and then the deed was done. Yet another beloved person left Wanda forever again... but then Thanos used Reality Stone to reform Vision ''just to tear the Space Stone out of him'', killing him and giving him an even more horrible death ''right in front of Wanda''. And then as stated above, Wanda was one of the heroes disintegrated by Thanos, cradling Vision's grayed out, lifeless, torn body, though after all she went through, you may start thinking that disintegration was a MercyKill...

* At the start of the film, virtually everyone who escaped the destruction of Asgard has been killed by Thanos and the Black Order. The brief attempt to fight back against Thanos is quelled quickly and just before Thanos murders the Hulk, Heimdall steps in and sends him to earth and is killed by Thanos in his place. Loki then emerges to attempt to trick Thanos into thinking he's loyal so he can kill him to no avail and Thanos proceeds to crush his neck, killing him. The worst part of all this is that Thor is being restrained and cannot help but watch all of this happen, screaming for Loki behind a gag made of the remnants of his half destroyed ship.

* From the second trailer, Gamora briefing the Avengers about Thanos is definitely tear-jerking, as she has lost her family and people, and she's trying so that Earth doesn't face the same tragedy as her planet did.

** Add to that scenes of Thor struggling to keep some machinery together, and Bruce lying in the hole in the floor looking completely heartbroken. This suggests Asgardians didn't just die offscreen - we will see how their heroes struggle to save them and fail.
* Throughout the trailers so far, T'Challa's default expression is more weary sadness than anything else. His beloved home has only just weathered the events of his solo movie, and now here comes ''another'' catastrophic event. The poor guy's tenure as Black Panther certainly isn't off to an easy start.
