The scout had been caught and executed, and Hilbert had been next in line for execution after the fact and it was only because The Golden Guard had swooped in to stop said execution at the tearful request of Skara that they were saved but at the cost of being fugitives from the law and leaving their old lives behind. Now, he works for Perry Porter to recreate the Nomu.

* Their fight ends up completely destroying Gravesfield. This is especially worse for Luz as she ended up contributing her DoomedHometown that she vowed to protect. Now its nothing more than a giant crater.

* Luz's relationship with her mother is even more strained than in the show, thanks to her being an AlcoholicParent in this story. After the massive argument they had last night that resulted with Camila throwing a wing glass at Luz while revealing she's a ResentfulGuardian towards her. While Luz tries to tell herself her mother didn't mean due to being drunk, she remarks to herself that the one good thing about Reality Check Camp is that she can get away from her mother after that verbal abuse. She even considers running away from home if Camila doesn't get her act together.

** In the Vestige Realm, Julia is horrified to find out from All For One that Luz has became her murderer in her name and is in a Cold War with her horrible father that resulted in Gravefield's destruction.

* As Sophia fires an EnergyBall at the cop squad, Luz intercepts it with her [[BarrierWarrior Forcefield Projection]]. Despite the Gravesfield police having been the ones to spearhead a lot of grief given to her in the past month, that doesn't stop her from trying to save as many lives as she could. If things were different, Luz could've been superhero she always wanted, instead she will be forever known as a mass murderer.

* During Luz's RoaringRampageOfRevenge, Emilia, TheLeader of the Foxtrot team, tearfully begs for her life claiming she never killed anyone and was never on board with Kennedy's plan. Seeing the 14-year old girl saying sorry in a MadnessMantra in the All For One user's VillainousFaceHold, Luz decides YouWillBeSpared.

* At the end of the chapter, Judy and Arla are brutally KilledOffForReal by the enemy teams, Stanley is fighting for his life and Luz is left alone to fight Cody.

* When Luz suffers a HeroicRROD from having too many Quirks, she hears that the 3 soldiers she was just about to fight came here to rescue her and her friends, as well as have Governor Rodger Maxwell in their custody to answer for his crimes, before she loses consciousness. This is sadly TruthInTelevision for many LGBT youth who don't have {{Open Minded Parent}}s.

* When Julia found out Luz could take away powers, Julia begged her take them away so for a chance for her family to take her back, despite being painful. She acknowledges that this could be AllForNothing if the governor finds out and pulls a YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness or her parents wouldn't want her back just for being gay.
