*Beneath her bubbly exterior Charlie has a serious case of self-loathing. She initially concludes that she was responsible for the breakup of Lucifer and Lilith's marriage, and later expresses disgust with herself when she assumes the worst of Camila after watching Hell's news media speculating that Lucifer's new paramour must be a heartless gold digger out to manipulate Lucifer. While Vaggie and Lucifer himself do all they can to allay her concerns, its obvious Charlie still has a long way to go before she abandons her self criticism.

*Lucifer's depression has reached such a low at the start of the story that he admits that he regrets ever giving Eve the apple. Even after meeting Camilla and giving an edited account of his own backstory, Lucifer admits that he screwed up and deserved to have his family kick him out. His private monologue also indicates he thinks he deserves to be in Hell forever after screwing things up with Eve.

* Charlie does ''not'' take Lucifer dating again well, having hoped that he and Lilith would get back together again. The way she learned of the new relationship doesn't help.
* While Stringbean helps her get past it, Luz doesn't react well when she learns that Camila met her new date in the same bar that she and Manny used to go to.
* The flashback of Lucifer begging for Jesus to be his friend is just sad for a number of reasons.
