Corrected spelling of Principal Ramirez's name

* Chapter 8 mentions the events of "Schooled" when Lincoln tried to switch middle school classes and Principal Rameriz decided to transfer him to Canada as a foreign exchange student instead. Unlike the episode, Lincoln doesn't end up going to Canada because [[PapaWolf Lynn Sr.]] and [[MamaBear Rita]] were naturally so furious over their son being forced into a foreign-exchange program that they threatened to talk to the superintendent of the school district to get Principal Rameriz fired if she didn't take Lincoln out of the program and honor Lincoln's request to switch classes. Lincoln and Ronnie Anne also point out how ridiculous the whole situation was and how ridiculous it would have been if Lynn Sr. and Rita ''did'' agree to it. The author explains in his notes for that chapter that he thought that the Canada bit in "Schooled" was completely unnecessary padding that was riddled with stereotypes [[EndingFatigue to make the episode last longer past when it should have ended]].

!!''Fanfic/WhatIsAPersonWorth''
* Again, like how ''Syngenesophobia'' is with "Brawl in the Family", the story appears to be a direct assault towards "No Such Luck" due to the frequent amounts of TooBleakStoppedCaring it created with regards to how Lincoln was treated by his family.
* The story also serves as a TakeThat of a TakeThat. Specifically, towards the other stories that [[DeconstructionFic deconstruct "No Such Luck"]] by [[spoiler: having the police brought in, pointing out that, even though it's a punishment that would be [[LaserGuidedKarma well-deserved in this case]], Lincoln isn't spiteful enough to utterly separate the Loud family and sees that as DisproportionateRetribution]].
* A general TakeThat has been given to the Loud girls' AllTakeAndNoGive relationship they typically have with Lincoln. In this fic, such a relationship wound up with the one on the receiving end (Lincoln) growing hateful of those who hurt them (the sisters).
* [[BrotherSisterIncest Loudcest]] is skewered ''hard'' in Chapter 16; the other girls stare at Leni like she's sprouted a second head for suggesting what they think is a romantic outing with Lincoln and Leni has a minor FreakOut in disgust [[ThatCameOutWrong when she realizes what they think she's implied.]] Also earlier in Chapter 6, in Lynn's nightmare Luan suggestively asked if Lincoln, who was not born in her dream, is her "friend", to which Lynn in engrossed.
* Another TakeThat of a TakeThat by demonizing Luan for her antics, which gets a bit of a shot in Chapter 16 because while her pranks from "Fool's Paradise" are shown to have had consequences that didn't go away immediately, Luan is [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone horrified when Lincoln makes her realize that her pranks could have been crippling or lethal.]]
* Chapter 18 could be seen as this for the fans that either give Lincoln the DracoInLeatherPants treatment or the RonTheDeathEater treatment. Lincoln admits that he was wrong for lying and letting the whole bad luck gone too long, but he didn't deserve the bad things that his family did to him as a result of it.
* Chapter 22 serves as this trope to the basic plotline of "photos of someone doing something show up; despite the fact that several of them are clearly faked, everyone buys it immediately" since several characters call it out as stupid. Granted, it still works but it's clear that the people who are involved find the rest of the school's easy belief to be a massive IdiotBall.

!!''Take It In Stride''
* Possibly towards one about Lincoln being too lenient on his family in chapter 1, as mentioned in WiseBeyondTheirYears, Lincoln states that he's not spiteful enough to do so.
