The background story revolve around elite agents of the BenevolentConspiracy Ordo Realitas, which combates all the paranormal entities who come to our reality.

The paranormal beings come to our reality traversing a Membrane who separate our reality from the Other Side. The Membrane gets thinner when people stop believing in RealLife science and logic, and start to believe in the occult.
