* AllYourColorsCombined: From the inclusion of the Non-Partisan edition and Flip version in the series onwards, a lot more colors got added, such as: Purple, orange, cyan, pink, white and grey. A lot of the color specific gimmicks also gained a major boost thanks to some of the games using these specific alternative colors.

* OriginalCharacter: As UNO Ultimate Marvel is part of the project, MM is working on creating original characters to replace the copyrighted heroes, all having heavy science influence in them to fit the theme of Chemicards. So far, only the theme of some of the selectable characters have been made.

This means that fanworks, bootlegs, fanmade expansions, or official Mattel card games without the previously mentioned label will not be allowed.

* ColourCodedForYourConvenience: Some of the wild cards are assigned to a specific color, making them more situational compared to wild cards that have access to all of them.

* TheChosenOne: Only games made by Mattel and are labeled "[[TabletopGame/MakersOfUno From the makers of UNO]]" are utilized. This means that fanworks, bootlegs, fanmade expansions, or official games without the label will not be allowed.
