Justified because [[spoiler: he is Zeus' son.]] In ''VideoGame/GodOfWarII'' after becoming a god proper, Kratos gains greater Super Strength as his core power; it takes time for him to build force, but no sliding door can stand in his way, given a few minutes and his BARE HANDS. By the time of ''VideoGame/GodOfWarIII'' Kratos is strong enough to rip a god's head off and kill the entire Greek Pantheon. Then in TheVeryDefinitelyFinalDungeon he picks up the ''[[UpToEleven Golden Gauntlets]]'' which enable him to uproot and throw massive basalt monoliths that must weight a few hundred tons.
