* Combined with NonIndicativeName, the name 'Tsuji' refers to Masunobu Tsuji, a tactician of the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second World War. Tsuji is not the strategic type; that role belongs to his partner, Marcellus.
* Marcellus gets his (first) name from the character Marsellus Wallace in the 1994 movie ''Film/PulpFiction''. Although the names are clearly spelled differently.
