Set in a China-esque fantasy world where humans, demons, and deities coexists. The demons invaded the human race in an ancient war. In order to protect themselves from the demon race, the humans asked the deities for guidance to produce several holy weapons capable to terminate the demons; which were termed the "Shinkai Makai (神誨魔械)," and were guarded by different clans of priests called the "Goinshi (護印師)" for generations. Amongst these holy weapons lies the most powerful of them all, a sword called the "Tengyouken (天刑劍)" guarded by the Dan Clan siblings, Dan Kou and Dan Fei.

One night, the Dan siblings found themselves with several uninvited guests, a demonic group called the "Genkishu (玄鬼宗)" came in with force to pursue the Tengyouken. The Dan Siblings soon found themselves overpowered by these demons, Kou then urges his little sister Fei to flee with half of the Tengyouken while he takes on the Genkishu leader, Betsutenkai [[HeroicSacrifice with his last breath]].

After fleeing several miles, Fei fainted from exhaustion, and was saved by two wandering travelers, a tactician call Lin Setsua, and a swordsman named Sho Fukan. Will they be able to help Dan Fei in preventing the Genkishu from taking away her half of the Tengyouken and save their country from Betsutenkai's ambitions?
