In July 27, 2019, two web movies serving as "side stories" to the main series have been greenlit. The first is titled ''The Living Dead'' (生魂; ''Sheng Hun'') and was released on November 7, 2019. This movie focuses on Wen Ning and Lan Sizhui after the events of the series finale, where they investigate a murder mystery in a town near Qishan. He created four pieces called 'Yin Metal' as well as the sword stuck in the Xuanwu of Slaughter. These 'Yin Metal' pieces allow Wen Ruohan to use demonic cultivation for his plans of conquest.
