The show aired from September 12, 1970, to September 2, 1972, for one season of 17 episodes.

In the reboot Courage is a girl, and there are two boys and two girls on the show. Both IQ and Harmony play guitars and Joy plays the keyboard. Also the characters of Funky Rat, Woofer, Tweeter and Sparky were given updated looks with both Woofer and Tweeter looking like robots and Sparky being designed a lot cuter and smaller. Benita Bizarre now lives in a video jukebox and she is played by Lise Simms. There is a new character in the updated remake that is a caterpillar. As of now the pilot is unsold, so any news regarding a pick up of the new series is unavailable for now.
