* TitleSequenceReplacement: In the widescreen remaster, the title sequence exclusive to the second half of Season 3 (after Lisa Robin Kelly left the cast) is replaced with an edited version from the rest of the season. In this intro, the shots where Laurie is seated in the back have been digitally edited to remove her, leaving a conspicuous empty seat every time, and the shot where she is driving has been replaced with one where Bob, Eric, and Red are seated in the front and Red uncharacteristically ''smiles and sings''.

* CelebrityParadox: In Season 8, when Jackie tries to get herself a job on Christine St. George's TV show, and the receptionist (unsurprisingly) won't let her through, she insists that she's supposed to be Christine's co-anchor, to which the receptionist snarks, "And I'm supposed to be Creator/BrookeShields. Ain't life a bitch?" This is despite the fact that Shields herself had previously had a recurring role on the show -- as Jackie's mom, no less.

* LesYay: In-universe example; Kelso thinks that Series/LaverneAndShirley are "one bottle of wine away from making out", just like Jackie and Donna. Jackie occasionally makes jibes that Donna is gay, the pair falling neatly into the butch/femme stereotypes and they grow increasingly close as the series progresses (partly through simple female solidarity as the only girls in the overwhelmingly male group). When the gang goes skinny dipping Donna comments that it's always cool to see her and Jackie naked, Jackie grinning in agreement.
