* ColdSniper: Angela is pretty cold and efficient as a sniper. She admits applying that mindset to other aspects of her life can make her mess up.

* MeaningfulName: Maya ''Lerner''[[note]] [[DontExplainTheJoke pronounced the same as "learner"]][[/note]] is the team's [[TheBabyOfTheBunch youngest]] and [[NewMeat least experienced]] member. Though she certainly gains a fair bit of experience during the mission.

* BunnyEarsLawyer: Hagerty is a whackjob who needs to listen to music before disarming a bomb, but he's undoubtedly the only person who can safely deactivate the nuclear bomb.

* AcePilot: Zig-zagged with Paul Yung. Normally, he is, but because of all the hallucinogens in the guacamole he ate, he winds up crashing the helicopter. Later, once the drugs wear off, he's back to his normal skill level by the finale, where he is evading heat-seeking missiles, and also trying to keep the helicopter steady so Gomez can take out the guy firing at them.

* HighHeelHurt: After the team gets called back, and are walking into the military base to be briefed, Ava face-plants due to wearing high heels and being very drunk. They get her a pair of boots to wear for the rest of the mission.

* GroinAttack: [[spoiler:Trunk]] gets a drill slowly inserted into his urethra, with the mook torturing him threatening to turn it on.

* ChekhovsGun: At the party ini the first episode, [=McKnight=] gives Gomez a large dildo with a glow stick inside. Later, after Maya falls into a pit, Gomez tosses it to her to use as a light source, and she finds out the pit is filled with scorpions!

* AccidentalHero: Ferguson had Ava and her team arrested for trying to interfere with the FBI's work on the mission, except for Hagerty and Paul, who were both missing. Hagerty was busy having fun with Yani (unaware of the events that have been going on), while Paul was handcuffed and left behind by Chad and Trunk at a diner so he wouldn't keep screwing up their efforts due to his hallucinations. Paul eventually released himself and tracked down his colleagues, intercepting the van that was taking them to prison and releasing them in the process. Points go to Chad and Trunk for this unwitting back-up plan.

* EveryoneKnewAlready: When Maya has an EurekaMoment while in a medically-induced coma and rejoins the team to tell them that [[spoiler:Lana is actually a Russian double agent]], the team answers they already knew since last episode.

* EmbarrassingHospitalGown: When Maya walks out of the ER barely recovering from a morphine induce coma, she exits the hospital only wearing a gown with her butt on full display. Later in the episode Ava tells Maya she should get some pants, but she answers she actually likes the breeze (clearly still being affected by the morphine).

* CassandraTruth: Maya doesn't initially believe Ava trying to warn her that Sharonda is a spy working for Koslov and wants to dispose of her.

* BrokenPedestal: Maya tears into Ava with this speech after catching her and [=McKnight=] together, revealing how she admired her but now thinks of her as nothing else but a phony, especially after that touching conversation they had during the party.

With Anastasia's plot and Ferguson's poor handling of it now being public knowledge, Ava's team was inevitably the last hope to accomplish the mission, otherwise Vegas would've been doomed by now.]]
