** Andrew Schillinger was a drug addict who was imprisoned for killing a Black man and initially embraced his father's Neo-Nazi views. However, thanks to Beecher's positive influence (although he was just manipulating him to get back at Vern), he manages to kick his drug habit and renounce both his father and his racist views. In turn, [[spoiler:Vern mails him some bad heroin while in the hole, which he promptly overdoses on.]]
** Nappa was a high-ranking member of the Italians and either committed or ordered several murders throughout the years. After being infected with AIDS by Adebisi, however, he befriends fellow AIDS patient Nat Ginzurg and decides to make amends by writing his life story. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, Pancamo has him murdered by Ginzburg and his transcripts destroyed.]]

I can't find any evidence of this claim and it's ridiculous to believe that they would have a character raped as punishment for their actor's bad attendence.

* PrisonRape: Many instances of this, realistically portrayed and very disturbing. Rather perversely, many of the rapes perpetrated on this show are said to be against cast and crew that show up late to work.

* AnythingThatMoves: Scott Ross, who is said to "fuck anything on two or four legs." Ditto for Chris Keller, who seems to prefer men, but has been married 4 times.
