** In episode 46, Alexi tries to enter Mami Bibir's house after getting kicked out by claiming to be the RT leader, with the same voice he normally uses just with a bad accent.

** Bambang and Pipin who have just came from the countryside use formal fiirst-person pronoun ''saya'' and use polite honoriffic and name instead of pronouns for others (although Pipin becomes a Third-Person Person as her naivety gets emphasized). Alan who went to Jakarta a year ago still acts like a Batak so he uses informal first-person pronoun ''aku'' and keeps his Sumatran second-person pronoun ''kau''. The others who have spent a long time in Jakarta uses Betawi pronouns ''gue'' and ''lo''.

* AccidentalMisnaming: Pipin always calls Alexi "Alpin". Apparently, "Alpin" is just easier for her to say.
* AesopAmnesia: As part of his development in the 40s episodes, Bambang learns to not get carried away by jealousy and insecurity. Then, nearing the end of the series, too much WhatDoesSheSeeInHim causes Bambang to regress and have to learn the same thing again. It even happens within the latter storyline; Bambang seemingly learns from Melani to just trust her at the end of episode 61 and the very next episode has Bambang being overly jealous over Melani wearing a shirt with Alexi's face.

* MovingAwayEnding: The series starts with Bambang moving in to the dorm, so naturally it ends with some of the characters leaving it, specifically [[spoiler:Alan leaving the dorm for a one-year long job with his favorite band, Pipin leaving for a month to fix her ruined house with her newfound money, and Bambang leaving Jakarta for good to take care of his late father's farm in the village.]]
