* HeroKiller: A few crop up, for instance there is the Black Flacon, who outright targets heroes and puts multiple ones in the hospital, as well as coming very close to killing Skylar. Then there is the Annihilator, who its implied has killed many heroes, and actually succeeds in killing [[spoiler: Skylar]].

*** When Oliver show jealousy to Skylar's friend. she ask why he doesn't like him saying it as weird as not liking diarrhea (And after getting really weirded out look she had to explain that on her planet diarrhea is the word for candy.)

** ThoseTwoBadGuys: Wallace and Clyde are both workers at The Domain comic book store and they are secretly villains that want to get rid of the superheroes in Mighty Med. [[spoiler:Turns out they were once the villain Catastrophe]].

* SplitAtBirth: A rather interesting variant. Wallace and Clyde were once [[spoiler:one supervillain known as Catastrophe, but Horace Diaz split said supervillain into two pathetic beings (Aka Wallace and Clyde). The only thing that can make them whole is combining a amulet (With one half in the possession of Horace).]]

* EyeScream: [[spoiler: Experion literally remove his eyeball to give to Kaz and Oliver, then it grew back.]]

* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Skylar faced a villain who neutralized her powers, destroyed her ride and stole her clothes (Leaving her in just her underwear.)

* BorrowedCatchphrase: Upon hearing that [[spoiler: Horace and his mother are engaged]] Oliver borrows Alan's Catchphrase and screams "What?"

Mighty Med is a 2013 Creator/DisneyXD comedy show about two kids, Kaz ([[Series/GoodLuckCharlie Bradley Steven Perry]]) and Oliver (Creator/JakeShort), that discover a secret hospital, where the superheroes they've read about in comics for years are treated, and they get jobs there, as their years of comic experience makes them GenreSavvy about the ailments the heroes face.

They then ask Hapax the Elder to help them defeat the villains, so he gives them a test to prove their bravery. The only dangers they have to worry about are those they face on the volcanic planet. They manage to defeat a man-eating, lava breathing creature, they've proven themselves and Hapax has agreed to accompany them to earth. After that death-defying trip, it looked as if things were all right, and everyone was about to leave. [[

* MerlinSicknes: Hapax the Elder is revealed to have a version of this, he ages backwards. He does remember what previously occurred, and his body is still subject to fatigue despite him getting younger.
