''A Walk in Your Shoes'' is an EdutainmentShow produced for Creator/{{Noggin}}. The premise is simple: take two people from completely different backgrounds and [[InAnotherMansShoes switch their lives]] for a day or two. The show was meant to help viewers learn about cultural, religious, and geographical differences.

The show ran for six years, making it the longest-running Noggin original series. The third season, which aired during Noggin's nighttime block "The N," was allowed to take on more serious subjects than the first two. Over its run, ''A Walk in Your Shoes'' won many awards, including a Peabody Award in 2003.

!!Take a walk through these tropes:
* CreatorCameo: One of the co-creators of Noggin, Tom Ascheim, is one of the "switchees" in the first season. A kid named Samantha gets to run Noggin for a day while Tom goes to school and gymnastics class.
* CompanyCameo: In the same episode as above, Noggin's headquarters are featured.
* CompanyCrossReferences: In one episode, Creator/{{CBS}} weatherman Mark [=McEwen=] switches lives with a high schooler. This was possible because CBS and Noggin were part of the same company (Viacom).
* ReunionShow: In Season 2, eleven of the "switchees" from Season 1 returned for a reunion special in New York.
* SwappedRoles: The basic premise of the show has two people swap their roles. However, there were a few episodes that could only show "one-way switches" for logistical reasons: the blind episode, the wheelchair episode, and the deaf episode.
* VerySpecialEpisode: Some episodes, mostly in Season 3, tackled difficult topics. These included homelessness, teen pregnancy, and even living with HIV/AIDS. The series finale was about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
