Doom had successfully gained the combined [[ComicBook/GhostRider the Spirit of Vengance]], ComicBook/ImmortalIronFist, ComicBook/IronFist, [[ComicBook/DoctorStrange sorcerer supreme]] and Starbrand. This power made Doom more than a match for Thor and that plebian ComicBook/{{Wolverine}} despite him possess the Phoenix Force. I would have triumphed if Wolverine didn't give the Phoenix Force to Thor, after that he and battled one another for [[NotHyperbole 99 years]] before he finally slew me.
