When the Gingaman and [=GoGoV=] find out his plans he attempts to kill them to keep them silenced. Upon this being thwarted he outright moves to controlling the Bowzock, torturing and tormenting [[YouHaveFailedMe any members who fail]] and even threatening those who try to defect with death. After the Bowzock decimate the Carrangers base when he seals their powers, Exhaus sets the Baribarian on fire with the remaining Bowzock inside, then sends the planetoid crashing towards Earth, hoping to kill them off and end Earth all in one fell swoop. Even after Ultraman manages to break free with help of Asami and eventually defeat him, Zarab's plans to discredit Ultraman is unable to be thwarted, screwing over the hero for the rest of the film.

Upon being discovered and cornered by Ultraman and SSSP when they take his technology, he showcases his battle cred as he fights and [[BadassBookworm overwhelms]] Ultraman almost defeating him and only [[KnowWhenToFoldEm retreating]] when Ultraman's far stronger superior, Zoffy, shows up to destroy Earth. Upon being discovered and cornered by Ultraman and SSSP when they take his technology, he showcases his battle cred as he fights and overwhelms Ultraman almost defeating him and only retreating when Ultraman's far stronger superior, Zoffy, shows up to destroy Earth. Before leaving he makes sure to remove all the recorded footage of Asami's transformation as one last act of goodwill.

When Trakeena desires revenge on Leo for [[YouKilledMyFather killing her father]], Villamax kidnaps the other five rangers and holds them [[IHaveYourWife hostage]] in exchange for Leo giving himself up so Trakeena can fight and kill him and [[IGaveMyWord releases them]] when he complies to histerms. Later on, when the treacherous [[TheStarscream Deviot]] returns after siding with [[InterimVillain Captain Mutiny]], Villamax is tasked with killing him for his treachery and only fails to end him there and then because of a last-minute merge Deviot has with Trakeena. When the now viler Trakeena starts using her last remaining soldiers as disposable suicide bombers against Terra Venture and its inhabitants, Villamax finds himself disgusted by these methods before ultimately siding against her after he saves an innocent human girl's life, however he can't bring himself to kill his student when facing her and gets killed in return for it, with his final words he merely expresses his disappointment that she learnt nothing in the end.
