What Zoro seeks as his dream is to be the world's greatest sworsman, a dream of his deceased friend and that would require to defeat Mihawk, the man who honed his Haki capabilities. He has a younger brother (who somehow looks older) was president of the United States and went on a vengeance against a nontangible GovernmentConspiracy that ended up killing him, dragging Solid Snake's name through the mud in a process. David has it rough needless to say, but the friends he's made is his own family who are supporting him mentally.

* Cyclops Sentinels Kurds

* Schematics have been exploited by Sentinels to create experimental units armed with weaponry meant to Metal Gears, essentially trying to make an easily producable army of Metal Gear units. A production line of Sentinels that are armed with nuclear weapons sounds like a nightmare for any mutant stronghold, which is why Cyclops made it a priority to halt any production of these Metal Gear Sentinels. But since uncovering the factories, the mutant leader needed to call an expert on it. Snake might not be a mutant to his dismay, though as Cyclops knows, Sinister's machinations made him be more open to clones. Snake's help in taking down the Sentinels has been stellar, though he and Cyclops have little to get along for. Since these factories were hidden in human populations, Cyclops did not consider the collateral damage his X-Men's assault would have. It took individual members to halt things like vaporizing an entire down incidentally as the only thing that Cyclops said was to destroy the Sentinels at all cost. Snake asked Cyclops on if he was willing to use weapons like Metal Gears against neighbors. Cyclops only said that he does not need a nuke as mutants themselves are already that equivalent.

* Solid Snake has made many of friends in his war against Metal Gear, though consistent contact from him is sparse for their own protectio. Kazuhira Miller, even though he had hidden intentions, is considered a vital part of Snake's life as he mentored the man to becoming the defeater of Big Boss. Snake had a strong friendship with Gray Fox from FOXHOUND until he defected to Zanzibar Land, a trauma that haunts Snake to this day. Kyle Schneider was a strong ally against Outer Heaven first, but NATO bombing Schneider's people and caused the revolutionary to join Big Boss was a regretful revelations. George Kasler may not be talked about, but he was a fellow FOXHOUND member who helped him. He has a borderline toxic relationship with the Colonel Campbell who he struggles having a high or low opinion on, but will always be thankful on Campbell's actions that saved him more than a few times. Johan Jacobsen warned him about poisonous Zanzibar hamsters. He may have found a romantic link in Holly White but that relationship never got off the ground when Snake ghosted her on their first date. Naomi Hunter and Snake got into shaky ground since she tried killing him with FOXDIE for his actions in Zanzibar Land, but forgave him in due time. Then she tried a fake defection to Liquid Ocelot that was under orders of Big Boss and that was a complicated mess. At least Mei Ling and Natasha Romanenko were vital for enabling Philanthropy's Metal Gear hunts. Snake had a bit of a fling with Campbell's daughter/niece Meryl Silversburgh from their shared experience on Shadow Moses though parted ways when they realized their paths don't match. Though he finds it strange how Akiba managed to keep crossing paths with him since Shadow Moses. Speaking of Philanthropy, the cofounder is his closest friend with Otacon, who stuck by Snake to stop the creations that spawned from his designs. Otacon was beside Snake more than anyone, even when Snake tried pushing away at the brink of death which honestly makes people see them as bound together as a married couple. Snake affirmed faith in an existentially Raiden on the Big Shell, a staunch ally for him against the Patriots conspiracy until Raiden vanished, reappearing as a cyborg in South America. Sunny was rescued by Raiden from the Patriots, a child of a woman who died helping Snake. The closest family she has left is Snake, Otacon, and Raiden, being the representation of the future they are fighting for. Snake finally met Rosemary, who at the time was Raiden's ex-fiancee who married Colonel Campbell and she acted as his therapist on the field. It was all a smokescreen to protect her and her and Raiden's child from the Patriots though it is still unknown if Snake cared to learn that. Drebin 893 is suspicious all around, though was on the side of Snake, technically preventing Snake and potentially millions of others from dying to a FOXDIE epidemic fostering in Snake. All these allies Snake could help him, though he does not want to drag anyone down to down in his subversive activities.
