Furina is the second playable character since Rosaria whose Wish artwork pose, much like the Wanderer before her, does not completely match that of her Character Introduction; her hair length and outfit is the Ousia variant and her left arm is raised higher.

* BreakingOldTrends: Furina/Focalors is the first Archon since /Barbatos, from all the way back at game launch three years ago, to appear as early as the first act of their related Archon Quest, as well as the very first to openly identify as Archon at that point ( having not been identified as such until the end of the second act of his Archon Quest).

* MutuallyExclusivePowerups: When Furina uses her skill, she can (depending on her Arkhe alignment) either summon only the Salon Members or the Singer of Many Waters; both cannot simultaneously exist on field. If Furina changes alignment while her skill is still active, the Salon Members will disappear and be replaced by the Singer of Many Waters, and vice-versa.

* WeaponSpecialization: Furina's character banners run concurrent with a sword called Splendor of Tranquil Waters (5★). Its Ascension substat is CRIT DMG (? - 88.2%), and has a "Dawn and Dusk by the Lake" passive where, whenever the wielder's current HP increases or decreases, their Elemental Skill damage also increases. If the wielder's allies current HP increases or decreases, the wielder gains a boost in their max HP. Given the nature of her skill draining HP from the active character, which can include herself, and gravitating towards HP scaling with her talents, this greatly strengthens the power of the Salon Solitaire's damage potential.

* BadassAdorable: Furina is the Hydro Archon who has expertise with swordplay and Hydro manipulation in battle. She is also a cute girl who, despite her haughty exterior, has positive HiddenDepths and even has little Hydro beings known as the "Salon Solitaire" as her companions. In one of her idle animations, she even plays with one of the "Members of the Salon Solitaire" by having them shoot bubbles all around, then proceeds to cuddle it afterwards.

* ChargedAttack: Hers is unique in that it switches between her Pneuma and Ousia Arkhe alignments.

* DanceBattler: Furina's normal attack combo animations has her perform graceful dance animations with her bladework, and can even perform a bow at the end.

* ExoticEyeDesigns: Her right eye has a light blue iris with a dark blue teardrop-shaped pupil, while her left eye retain the same pupil shape but flips the colours.

* SpinAttack: In her normal attack combo, Furina can sit on a bubble and spin her sword around, not unlike how Dori does so with her Jinni for her charged attack.

* StaffOfAuthority: Her Character Introduction artwork has her wield Splendor of Tranquil Waters, a sword that resembles a scepter, and she is the Hydro Archon ruling over Fontaine. Though the "authority" part is mostly subverted in all but name, since she isn't particularly respected among the people of Fontaine.

%%* TookALevelInBadass: Initially, Furina is reluctant to engage in combat and actively avoids it whenever possible, even in worst case scenarios. As a playable character, she is now capable of fighting and can hold her own in combat. How she will become combat capable within the story will be explained in the 4.2 Archon Quests later.

* WhileRomeBurns: Discussed. Arlecchino accuses her of wasting her time with tea parties while the prophecy threatens to destroy Fontaine. Furina is enraged over the accusation.

* CompanyCrossReferences: Furina bears a passing resemblance to Sin Mal, a recurring character from VideoGame/HonkaiImpact3rd as well as its prdecessor Gun [=GirlZ=]. They share physical characteristics such as being teenaged-looking girls with heterochromia and a prominent IdiotHair, and dress in a similarly tomboyish manner with frilled, long-sleeved tops and short shorts that gives them LegFocus. Personality-wise, they are also quite difficult to get along with.
