Instead of a DistaffCounterpart they have a (seemingly) YoungerAndHipper counterpart in the Onmyo Monks.

Unlike their {{Spear Counterpart}}s. the male Priests, they see healing battle wound as necessary because of more frequent warfare. Their schools have passed on the rules of Vinaya (which requires EyesAlwaysShut) One of the most prolific healers is Serra Winguard

* FirstRuleOFGenderBending: No actual Genderi bending is used, but in Hour of darkness the Thieves were AlwaysMale, but the thieves in the 2nd game was AlwaysFemale and that design stuck for subsequent games.
