This could be somewhat ironic given Vermoud, though that could also be intentional; if the clown's evil like we suspect he may want to come off as less likely to cheat or otherwise be evil with them. Alternatively half the team will be super-villains. The Pride Force isn't going to like this, but upon hearing what happens if they lose even the evil half will Enemy Mine with them. The destruction of Mars was a Class 6 resulting in the complete annihilation of the Martian civilization, leading Mars to become the lifeless rock it currently is. And it's implied that the cause of this was the Pandora Box opening fully. At full power, Evolt has the ability to pull off Class X apocalypses at will by creating black holes that he uses to suck up planets; in one episode he forces Sento to watch while he wipes out an alien planet in an attempt to demoralize the hero. He almost pulls a Class X on Earth in the final arc, but the heroes find a way to turn it around on him.
# VideoGame.DarkestDungeon: The opening of the portal seems to be a Regional Disruption. While the spreading of corruption is wreaking havoc on the area surrounding the manor, there's no evidence to suggest that it has spread out beyond that. However, the way the ancestor speaks about it, there is a potential for a much greater-scale catastrophe if it is not contained quickly, possibly being a Planetary Extinction of humanity or a Physical Planetary Annihilation.
# Series.BattlestarGalactica1978: During a peace conference in which there was to be a truce with the Cylons, Baltar sold out the 12 Colonies, and as a result the Colonies were mostly destroyed along all of the other Battlestarsnote except for the Galactica, of course, but one episode reveals that the Pegasus had also survived..

Halfway through the fight, you receive a vision; Egil is planning to use a technique called 'Bionis Slash X', which, if it succeeds, will cut the Bionis in two, dealing infinite damage. The player then receives a quest mid-battle to destroy the three devices around Egil to prevent this from happening.
# SevenDeadlySins.VideoGames: Luxu is named for luxuria (lust). In this case, the name is likely not meant to be seen in the sexual sense, as it usually is, but rather a "lust for life", fitting his role of being tasked with surviving the Keyblade War.
# NightmareFuel.TalesFromTheDarkside: "Hush". A child creates an odd-looking mechanism that was programmed to stop all the noise annoying those he loves. It works too well; namely, it takes the life out of the thing that's making the noise. Seeing the machines being robbed of their noise is okay, but what's not okay is that horrible nozzle and noise of the machine itself. Also, a parrot and the boy's mother fall before it! Painfully. The world is certainly a better place when the babysitter makes the machine suck out its own life. And that's how the TV version ended. In the original short story by Zenna Henderson, everyone dies, and the story ends with the implication that the machine is going to make everything quiet.
# NightmareFuel.{{Megamind}}: A quick one that's often glossed over, but at the beginning of the movie, we get the wonderful sight of not one, but TWO ENTIRE INHABITED PLANETS BEING DESTROYED BY A BLACK HOLE. The inhabitants don't even have a chance to escape. Only one infant from each planet is able to make it off.
# Literature.{{Kronk}}: Headed toward a Class 2. P939 removes aggression, but also removes much of human drive and recipients often commit suicide after contemplating just how much pain they've caused in their life. And, in a few generations, the remaining bits of humanity are likely to tear each other apart.
# Film.TheLastManOnEarth: As in the original story, the movie is set after a terrible plague has unleashed undead hordes on the Earth. Vincent Price spends all his free time researching for a cure and killing the undead.
# Literature.NorbyFindsAVillain: Ing's Evil Plan this time is to go into hyperspace with a bomb so that he can blow up the entire universe at once. Fortunately, it doesn't work. Unfortunately, it does rip a hole and sends him into an Alternate Universe, causing a Bad Future where tree-like aliens conquer the galaxy.
# TearJerker.KamenRiderGaim: All of the Inves were people and animals at one point. All of them.
# VideoGame.DemonsSouls: Class 0. The last time the Old One was released, Boletaria went from a united utopia to a collection of small regions, each given an Archstone to be ready in case it ever woke up again. The rest of the kingdom was destroyed, though the separate regions still seemed to do well enough in rebuilding. The regions players travel to throughout the game are all that's left from the last time the Old One woke up, and even among the six Archstones, something happened to the northern giants that prevents their land from being visited, as their Archstone is destroyed in the Nexus. When King Allant awakens the Old One again, he hopes to achieve a Class 2 by having the deep fog spread across the whole world, and it’s the players goal to stop that from happening… or to simply take his place.
# WebVideo.TierZoo: Every time humans are mentioned, their nature as a invokedGame-Breaker is also brought up, but he doesn't talk about how humans need to be nerfed that much— whereas someone analyzing an actual game in this manner would be pestering the devs to no end to do such a thing— likely due to the real life implications such a thing would have.
# YMMV.KingpriestTrilogy: Beldinas, when he does realize, though too late, what he has done, and what his actions will lead to, when Paladine himself comes to punish him, and begs him for forgiveness, but is rejected.

# Film.ReignOfFire: A Class 2 for humanity, with the possibility of it growing into a Class 3a if the dragons outlast the humans. For the biosphere it's a Class 4 due to the dragons scorching all the lands to ashes for them to consume, and humans' Nuke 'em actions before society collapsed likely helped.

Apparently, it's still working. The promise of salvage and wartime technology attracts scavengers and small communities, which are gradually whittled away by Enervation and other dangers of the Hoof. Silverstar Sporting Supplies. The tainted forest surrounding Hippocratic Research.
# Literature.BookOfGenesis: The Great Flood destroys all humanity and all land animals on the planet, except for what is saved on Noah's ark. Class 2 or 4, depending on whether any species were completely wiped out.
# PlayingWith.BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu: Taking Cthulhu's job seems to be terrible at first, but Bob soon realizes that he can use his new found powers and resources to create a better world and gain everyone's respect. Besides, godlike powers are awesome. Cthulhu's minions try to get revenge over Bob, But he, his friends, and the army soon defeat them with modern weaponry. The Universe seems to be entering in collapse, but it just reforms itself into a new reality without Cthulhu with everyone sound and happy.
# Film.ZackSnydersJusticeLeague: A physical Annihilation on a planetary scale is started by the Unity but not finished because the Flash reversed time to cancel it out and give Cyborg the charge he needed to enter it and destroy it from within. The "Knightmare" sequence shows oppositely but due to Darkseid's success.
# MassEffectAndromeda.TropesAToG: Depressingly common when going off the beaten tracks of the Heleus cluster are worlds that have been ruined beyond repair by the Scourge. The words "atmosphere" and "stripped away" recur often. The destruction of H-047C. According to the Codex's description, debris was warped by the Scourge and had its mass increased dramatically, before it slammed down into the planet. Essentially, the place was Colony Dropped into oblivion. Planet scanning reveals that other gas giants gained their rings the same way, and the asteroid thickets found throughout the cluster are heavily implied to be the remains of Earth-sized or larger planets.
# TheNewOrderLastDaysOfEurope.TropesAToD: It goes without saying that due to this being set in an Axis victory scenario, the game is darker than the main game and other popular mods such as Kaiserreich and Fuhrerreich. Since it's also centered around a Cold War, the hope of conventional warfare ending the Fascist great powers is next to zero, since nukes will be involved. Also quite literally too since the game uses darker colors and filters for its map compared to the other mods and base game.
# Pantheon.MaximumSecurity: Should it be unleashed on the Pantheon in high enough amounts, it would be able to cause around a Class 0 to a Class 2 ApocalypseHow, depending on how much of the gas is used, and how the gas itself is deployed.

# Fridge.RalphBreaksTheInternet: This is actually addressed up in Fridge Brilliance. Every time there's a widespread virus outbreak, the companies maintaining the internet's infrastructure harden their own defenses to it and push updates to their partners and end users to make sure they're protected as well. This effectively immunizes most of the internet against the virus; the only systems that can be affected by it are systems that failed to update. So there's no global outage. No societal collapse. No ApocalypseHow.

Vil's joy at being able to return to his original appearance and being back at Sage Island together with everyone else encapsulates that their long two days of struggle are finally paid off. They've earned their happy ending, at least for now until the Diasomnia chapter starts.Vil's "Kya!~" after being restored to his original age is absolutely adorable, especially coming from someone who is typically so poised.
# Film.TankGirl: Rebecca Buck or Tank Girl explains the back-story. Tank Girl: Listen up, cause I'm only telling you this once. I'm not bedtime story lady, so pay attention. It's 2033. The world is screwed now. You see, a while ago this humongous comet came crashing into the earth. Bam, total devastation. End of the world as we know it. No celebrities, no cable TV, no water. It hasn't rained in 11 years. Now 20 people gotta squeeze inside the same bathtub - so it ain't all bad.
# Anime.Metropolis2001: Class 0. The destruction of the Ziggurat completely wrecks Metropolis, but there's still survivors and they will rebuild. The rest of the world is definitely in a comparatively better shape.
