* n the manga Sket Dance, the main characters consist of three people, and one named Switch refers himself as Goemon when discussing
the trio's relationship. He specifically says that the other two hang out with each other more often like Lupin and Jigen do, while Switch himself is a bit reclusive like Goemon.

I found a whole conversation about Lupin the 3rd in "Genshiken" where the characters were at the beach and the two most otaku of the group were building the Castle of Cagliostro out of sand, the clock tower and everything. And Modarame, the leader, was expressing his interest in the series, which movie he liked the most. One of the other guys there actually said he liked "The Fuma Conspiracy" the most, and I still don't know what's up with that, Fuma Conspiracy was not that good. Also Modarame goes into a explaination about a failed Lupin film that was supposed to be the 3rd movie, but it got scrapped and 2 years later, the "Gold of Babylon" was made in 1986.

* The (new) Pink Panther movie had a "HAMBURGAH!" scene that is similar to Zenigata's in ''Recap/EpisodeZeroFirstContact''. Probably because Lupin has made Shout Outs to the franchise in the past.
* Creator/ShinichiWatanabe, the director of "''Recap/TheColumbusFiles''", likes to show up in a few of his other animes as a character called "Nabeshin" wearing a long-sleeved blue button-up shirt, a yellow tie, and a red jacket... (most frequently in Manga/ExcelSaga and Manga/NerimaDaikonBrothers, but he does show up in some other anime as well). Not to forget the secret about the two rings he solved at the beginning of one of these episode ({{Homage}} to [[Anime/TheCastleOfCagliostro CoC]]).
* Gantz girl is DEFINITELY Fujiko-esque. It's kind of amusing that Fujiko in many ways ushered in the bust-buster archetype for Japanese anime heroines.
* The three-part OVA "Re: Cutie Honey" is full of references to other animes, and does not skimp on the Lupin ones.
** Honey's boss dresses exactly like red-jacket Lupin.
** The male protagonist wears a green jacket that is somehow familiar.
* Cowboy Bebop shines with Lupin influences.
** In episode "Sympathy for the Devil", the little boy who plays the harmonica wears a green jacket, yellow tie, and black dress shirt.
** Also art style (foot shapes, anyone?), characters (through gruff, bearded voice of reason and on to self-serving female protagonist), and long elaborate money-making-missions that (while successful) never really pay anything.
*** So ''that's'' how Jet was inspired by Jigen. I keep looking at Jet and thinking, man, that's one ugly mug. How could lean, mean dog-faced Jigen inspire massive, unwieldy, bull-faced Jet? oO So it's his personality, not his appearance.

* WesternAnimation/NightHood - This version of Literature/ArseneLupin has several Shout Outs to various anime series, most obvious is Lupin himself takes several visual and stylistic cues from [[Manga/SailorMoon Tuxedo Mask]] and there are even a few to Manga/LupinIII (the dynamic between Lupin and Grognard owes a lot to that between Lupin and Jigen).

These are works that have made a ShoutOut to Manga/LupinIII in some form or another. Keep in mind that the work may be referencing Literature/ArseneLupin or another work that Lupin the Third is parodying.
!!Examples
* LightNovel/AriaTheScarletAmmo has a character called Lupin. ''She'' is the great-granddaughter of the original Literature/ArseneLupin. However, there are also indications we are supposed to think of Lupin III as well. She is called "IV" or "Lupin the IV". Her full (Western order) name is Riko Mine Lupin IV. So Fujiko Mine is clearly her mother.
* Music/LupeFiasco sings a song, "''Touch the Sky''" which features the line "Lupe steals like Manga/LupinIII"
