* Creator/KathleenBarr, best known for voicing Dot Matrix in ''WesternAnimation/ReBoot'', Kevin in ''WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy'', Wheezie in ''WesternAnimation/DragonTales'', Trixie and Queen Chrysalis in ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'', and Lila Test in ''WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest''. Despite being extremely active in the Canadian voiceover industry, very little is known about her personal life, she rarely attends conventions, and wouldn't allow a photo of herself to be used on Behind the Voice Actors.

* William Kasten is one of the most tenured voices of Max from ''Franchise/SamAndMax'' -- having played him and a few other minor characters in most of Creator/TelltaleGames' ''Sam and Max'' titles -- but aside from that, nothing is known about the man. Kasten has no photos, no interviews, and his only other credits outside of ''Sam and Max'' is in a bit part in Toys/{{Lego}}'s ''WesternAnimation/HiddenSide''. Some have speculated that "William Kasten" may not even be the actor's real name and is just a pseudonym of an anonymous worker at Telltale -- [[https://community.telltale.com/discussion/77301/the-mystery-of-william-kasten allegedly, former Telltale workers, when asked on if Kasten is real]], simply replied "[[ShrugOfGod He's real enough.]]" Just about the closest thing we've seen of Kasten outside of his characters is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4EUqgPyihU audio from blooper reels]].

* Probably the most tragic (and easily the oldest) example on here is Joe Dougherty. He was the original voice of WesternAnimation/PorkyPig and was actually where the character got his iconic stutter from since he actually did suffer from one himself. The only problem was he had great difficulty controlling said stutter and this would cost the producers a lot of money because they would have to keep using new tapes over and over as the tapes would always run out thanks to Joe's stuttering. Eventually the studio had no choice but to fire Joe, whereby he was replaced by Creator/MelBlanc, who would of course go on to play Porky for the next fifty years, as well as almost all of the other iconic characters and basically becoming the most legendary voice actor of all time. Joe would never find any acting work again and spent the rest of his life in obscurity until his death in 1978, with almost no details of his life being known at all except that he had a blink-and-you-'ll-miss it onscreen role as an extra in ''Film/AStarIsBorn1954''. Currently, the only known pictures of him to exist are [[https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/ac/Joe_Dougherty.jpg this screenshot]] of him in the aforementioned film, and [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/warner-bros-entertainment/images/f/ff/Joe_Dougherty_photo.jpeg this candid photo]] taken of him in the thirties.

* This is very common with kids who have done a MakeAWishContribution, likely because of them being ordinary kids battling life-threatening conditions.

* "Suzetta Miñet", the voice of EVA in ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid3SnakeEater'' and ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidPeaceWalker'', was confirmed by co-stars and Kris Zimmerman (the games' English voice director) to be [[AlanSmithee a pseudonym]]. Unlike earlier cases in the series where some actors briefly went under pseudonyms due to union concerns[[note]](In the first ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolid'', most of the cast were of SAG and were unsure on how the game would fare with relation to union laws -- these were later all eventually cleared up and the games since use everyone's real names, including in the game's [=GameCube=] remake ''The Twin Snakes'')[[/note]], Zimmerman confirmed that "Miñet" chose to go anonymous entirely out of personal reasons, and her identity remains confidential.
