** Averted. While Blue Angel's Trickstar Treat would have lead to her defeat by the time Spectre's turn ends, Spectre instead decides to end her himself with his Sunbloom Doom, wiping out her remaining LP.
** Spectre defied this trope shortly before that too; when Blue Angel points out that him occupying all the three zones linked to Dryannome leaves him exposed to an attack, since he can't use Dryannome's effect to summon a token anymore, he reveals that he can negate an attack by shifting a monster to another zone, leaving him with a free zone to summon a token in the process.
