* DoNotTauntCthulhu: Sadlygrove once again insults Rushu, this time mocking his tendency to use the BigShutUp to assert authority, but gets a rude reminder he's not on the other side of a dimensional mirror when Rushu tries to crush him to death and it's only Rubilax demanding the right to the Rushu Rush that saves him.

After the battle against Anathar, Yugo, Sadlygrove, Rubilax and the Smisse brothers find themselves in the Shukrute, the infernal dimension the Shushu calls home, where the dreaded king Rushu resides. The Demon Lord intends to use Yugo's powers to realize his millenia-long dream of invading the World of 12 to lay waste to everything, and of course to punish Rubilax for his treason. The Shushu manages to delay the inevitable by having them all face a seemingly-impossible battle in the Arena, but is there any hope for them to leave the World of Rushu with their lives?

!!Tropes:

* AlienGeometries: Rushu's castle is an EldritchLocation on his own, being filled with eyes and being composed of weird-looking wavy towers which makes the entire place resemble a black flame.
* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: Rubilax, when he makes use of his powers, only to be topped by Anathar, after he copied and used Rubilax' powers.
* BadBoss: Rushu, as if it wasn't clear enough before, burns his own subjects while flying over them and he and Anathar uses lesser Shushu as bullets to shoot the escaping heroes.
* BigDamnHeroes: Qilby and Adamai uses the Eliacube to open a rift which allows the heroes to escape the Shukrute in time.
* BolivianArmyEnding: The last time we see Remington Smisse he's charging Rushu himself to save his brother. [[spoiler: Turns out the both survived but were taken prisoner.]]
* BondVillainStupidity: Rushu, believing that the heroes have no way to run, is content with having them fight in an arena or to turn their escape attempt into a game. Downplayed, as when he realizes that because of this they've almost got away, he manages to beat them to the portal, and fails to restrain them only because of Rubilax' quick thinking.
* CallBack: Rushu definitively hasn't forgotten Rubilax' insubordination, nor the powers of Yugo and the chance of invading the World of 12 they carry.
* CardCarryingVillain: Rushu, king of the Shushu, as pretty much stated in this brief exchange with Yugo.
-->'''Yugo''': "I don't understand... you already rule on an entire world of your own... why do you want to invade ours?"
-->'''Rushu''': "Why do I want to invade yours? [[EvilLaugh Mwahahahahahah!]] Because there's nothing left to destroy here!"
* CharacterDevelopment: Rubilax slowly comes to term with the fact that he's not cut to be a bad guy and his genuine respect for Sadlygrove is cemented.
* ADayInTheLimelight: This episode has some focus on Rubilax as a protagonist, not a villain.
* TheDeterminator: Remington Smisse isn't willing to give up even when trapped in what's essentially Hell.
-->'''Remington''': "Such defeatism. There's always a way, kiddo."
* EekAMouse: Variation, big bad scary Rushu throws a fit the istant he sees Grany, a meowmeow (housecat). It's implied that he cannot stand anything cute and fluffy.
* FacePalm: Rushu does one while noting that Anathar has apparently squashed Yugo with his last attack.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: The whole "portal to Shukrute" thing is not confined to this episode only...
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Rubilax uses his powers to grow to ginormous size before trying to crush Anathar underfoot... unfortunately the greater Shushu is strong enough to topple him (letting the hungry Pyrashu whale on him) and uses this opportunity to copy Rubilax' powers and grow into a giant.
* NotSoAboveItAll: At first Rubilax is still resentful of Dally and refuses to talk to him. By the time they're both fighting the Pyrashus together, Rubilax is actually taking note of how many he's killed and trying to surpass Dally's score.
* NumberOfTheBeast: The schedule for the Rushu Rush involves a fight to the death against exactly six hundred sixtysix Pyrashus, with the added specialty of having Anathar partecipating as a FinalBoss.
* SeriousBusiness: If Rushu's first reaction to the portal in the Shukrute is anything to go by, Shushu take destruction of all things seriously.
-->'''Rushu''': "What's that blue thing over there? Who's the slacker who left something to destroy?!"
* SkullCups: Again, Rushu drinks from a massive skull, which he crushes to signal the start of the Rush.
* StopHittingYourself: Invoked, after obtaining Rubilax' magic, Anathar simply grabs Dally by the feet and repeatedly smacks him against his head, growing dramatically in size with each blow.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Anathar's voice oozes this feeling when he informs Rushu that the big blue thing in the distance which the heroes are about to reach is actually a portal.
* TwinTelepathy: The fraternal bond between Adamai and Yugo allows the former to locate the latter's position, and thus let he and Qilby know where to open a portal to safety.
* VillainousBreakdown: Rushu spends the entire episode being himself: FauxAffablyEvil with moments of irritation and LargeHam all over. When he realizes that the heroes are about to escape he becomes truly furious.
* WeNeedADistraction: With the portal about to close and a very angry Rushu in the way, Rubilax saves the situation by throwing Grany at his face, causing him to throw a fit and allowing the heroes to cross the portal to safety.
* ZergRush: The Rushu Rush, invoked by Rubilax, consists in a fight against 666 Pyrashus: small, feral carnivorous Shushu that swarms en masse from the surrounding, biting and clawing at the heroes.
