The episode begins with Bob and Larry on the countertop again, before Bob remarks that the other day, he met up with a boy named Marco. Bob then explains that Marco says that when his little sister does something that makes him mad then she says that she's sorry, his mother needs to forgive her. The question is, "Why do I have to forgive?" Larry remarks that that is a good question, before deciding to tell Marco the story of "The Grapes of Wrath", which tells the story of some very cranky grapes.

The question is, "Why do I have to forgive?" Larry remarks that that is a good question, before deciding to tell Marco the story of "The Grapes of Wrath", which tells the story of some very cranky grapes.

Down a winding road, a family of ill-tempered grapes, consisting of Pa Grape, Ma Grape, and their children, Tom and Rosie Grape, drive down the road while singing about their reputation of being grumpy and sour. While driving down the road, their car suddenly hits a stump, which sends Tom and Rosie tumbling across the ground. The two then start insulting each other, before the entire family notices Junior Asparagus standing off to the side. When they try to figure out what Junior is, they erroneously guess that he is a bean, as well as mistaking his trademark yellow cap for cheese.

Junior then tells the Grapes that he is not a bean, he is an asparagus (along with a detailed scientific explanation of an asparagus), then tells them that what he has on his head is not cheese, but rather a hat. However, his hat suddenly falls off, exposing the top of his head, as the Grapes then burst into laughter, thinking that Junior has peas on his head. This causes Junior to start crying, before Dad Asparagus comes outside to find out what all the commotion is. When Junior explains what happened, Dad Asparagus then explains to the Grapes that when we make fun of others, it makes them feel bad, before also explaining to them that God wants us to forgive others. After that, the Grapes then feel bad for making fun of Junior.

Dad Asparagus then tells Junior to forgive the Grapes, but when Junior asks why, Dad then explains that when others apologize for what they did, God wants us to forgive them. Junior then forgives the Grapes after that, but when Dad calls Junior by his name, Tom and Rosie then start teasing Junior once again, which angers Junior very much. Junior is about to confront the Grapes, when he accidentally steps on a rake that hits him in the face, before he falls backwards into his dump truck which then rolls down the hill and hits the edge of the sandbox, sending Junior flying into the air until he lands in the sandbox. When Junior gets back up, he is covered with sand, before he falls back down again, before Tom and Rosie then laugh at him again. Dad hears all the racket, telling the Grapes that he thought that they weren't going to tease anymore.

When Pa Grape says that Grapes always keep their promise and asks Tom and Rosie if they agree, they both agree rather reluctantly, before apologizing to Junior once again. Of course, Junior is reluctant to forgive the Grapes again, all because they made fun of his name and laughed at his misfortune. Throughout the segment, Bob and Larry interact with the story, explaining to Junior that God wants us to forgive others for wrongdoing of any kind. When Junior asks how many time he's supposed to forgive, Bob and Larry consult Qwerty, who gives them the verse "'''Jesus answered, "I tell you not seven times, but seventy times seven." Matthew 18:22'''".

Bob and Larry do not know what seventy times seven is, so they ask the characters if any of them know the answer. Rosie is able to correctly guess the answer, which is 490. Because of that, Junior then forgives the Grapes again. Pa then says that now that they're going to be nice from now on, they shouldn't be called 'the Grapes of Wrath' anymore. Dad then suggests that because Rosie has quite a head for numbers, they could be called 'the Grapes of Math', which the Grapes are excited about. The Grapes then get back into their car again before they drive off down the road again, but this time to share their new found kindness with everyone around them. After the story ends, Bob compliments Larry for the story, before asking him if that's how the story goes, to which Larry then replies "Oh, yeah", before winking at the viewers as the screen goes dark.

Bob and Larry then remember the time that they learned about forgiveness, before they tell the story about their cruise on the ocean, in a parody of ''Series/GilligansIsland'', with Larry as "a mighty sailor man" and Bob as the Skipper who is "brave and sure". The two then greet their passengers, the Professor (played by Dad Asparagus), the millionaire (played by Archibald Asparagus), and his wife, Lovey. Soon, the cruise is underway as Bob and Larry comment on how beautiful the day is. Bob then goes to see how the passengers are doing, so he entrusts Larry at the wheel, all while warning him not to daydream.

Larry is now steering the boat, before he begins to imagine himself as Captain Larry Romanoff, the famous Russian icebreaker pilot, best known for being able to pilot ships through the ice with ease. His mission is to save a pair of whales that are trapped in the ice, so he prepares to break through an entire iceberg to free the whales. However, Bob then shows up just as Larry's daydream ends. When Larry explains what he's about to do, Bob is incredulous, saying that there are no icebergs in the area. It turns out that Larry had inadvertently piloted the boat towards a rock before the boat then crashes, sending the passengers tumbling across the ground on an island. After the incident is over, Bob and the other passengers are angry at Larry for wrecking the boat, even in spite of Larry's apologies, at the same time that the boat then sinks into the waters below.

The next morning, Archibald and Lovey then wonder where Skipper is, before they hear Bob calling out if anyone has seen Larry. It is then revealed that Bob is up in a palm tree, where he explains that he is looking for Larry. The Professor then comes up with an idea on how to escape from the island, which is building a catapult. When the Professor demonstrates with a coconut model of Bob, the catapult then flings the coconut, which then hits Bob on the head, causing him to fall out of the tree and crush Archibald and Lovey's bamboo house. Archibald then angrily blames Bob for destroying their house while Bob angrily blames the Professor for hitting him with a coconut. When the Professor apologizes for hitting Bob with the coconut, Bob forgives him, before Bob then apologizes to Archibald and Lovey for what happened to their house, to which they forgive him as well. When Bob and the others realize that they made a terrible mistake for not forgiving Larry, they go off into the forest to find him.

After arriving at the other side of the island, Bob then spots Larry attempting to leave the island on a homemade raft and blowing into the sail to get it going. When Bob calls out to Larry to come back, Larry yells back, "You guys don't like me anymore! So I'm just gonna leave!" When Archibald says that they do like him and that they forgive him for smashing the boat, Bob then tells Larry that they realize now that it was wrong of them not to forgive him, before they ask him to forgive him for not forgiving him. Larry then forgives them after that, before a palm tree named Palmy shows up, happy to see that everyone has forgiven each other. Palmy then starts to sing "The Forgiveness Song", singing about how when we forgive others, we can live in harmony. During the song, the Professor then shows up in a helicopter fashioned out of bamboo and coconuts, before the others then climb on after that. Once everyone is aboard the helicopter, they then fly off and leave the island, as the song then ends.

When Junior asks how many time he's supposed to forgive, Bob and Larry consult Qwerty, who gives them the verse "'''I tell you not seven times, but seventy times seven. Mathew 18:22'''".

-->'''Intermission'''

Scallion # 1 is acting as a salesman, where he asks kids if they've ever done anything bad in their lives, before presenting to them a brand new product called the Forgive-o-matic, which ostensibly allows God to forgive you for all the bad things you've ever done. Not only that, but Scallion # 1 also explains that anyone who orders the Forgive-o-matic will also receive a lovely collection of Ginsu Steak Knives. Junior then appears in front of Scallion # 1 and explains to him that the bible says that God forgives us for all that we've done, then he will. Scallion # 1 is surprised that anyone can forgive or be forgiven without the use of a Forgive-o-matic before attempting to make other uses with the Forgive-o-matic, such as making french fries or trying to sell a chia look-a-like of the Forgive-o-matic. Junior then says "Say good night, Gracie", which Scallion # 1 then responds "Good night, Gracie" as the lights then go out, before he trips in the dark.

-->'''Larry's Lagoon'''

That night, everyone has built some huts out of bamboo and palm leaves for them to sleep in, but they are still mad at Larry for what happened. While Larry comments that it's not so bad being stranded on a tropical island, Bob disagrees, saying that their boat is at the bottom of the ocean with no way for them to escape. When Larry insists that he's sorry, Bob indignantly replies that it's not good enough before going to sleep. This causes Larry to think that Bob thinks that he's not good enough. Because of that, Larry then decides to run away from the island.

-->'''Countertop Outro'''

Back on the countertop, Bob and Larry then talk about how they've learned a lot about forgiveness, while Larry starts talking about how they've also learned about how many things you can make out of bamboo. When Bob explains that it's time to talk about what they've learned the "'''What Have We Learned'''" song then plays, but when Bob tries to say something, Larry interrupts by repeatedly saying the word "Bamboo". After the song ends, Bob and Larry then review the lessons that they've learned about forgiveness, before Qwerty then gives another verse, which is, "'''Forgive others as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13b." Bob then answers that that's why we need to forgive, before he and Larry sign off, ending the episode.
