* GoodForBad: The visitors offer gemstones in exchange for gold and actually hand over a few for inspection. Artie examines them and finds that they're genuine. [[spoiler:Of course it turns out that those are the only ''real'' stones the women had. If the townsfolk had made the exchange, they would've ended up with a lot of handfuls of glass.]]

West and Gordon are accompanying a gold shipment. It arrives in Morning Glory, Arizona at the same time that a flying saucer apparently streaks through the sky and lands near town, much to the delight of local hellfire preacher Brother Simon. Three green-skinned females emerge and claim that they have run out of their ship's fuel - gold. They promise the townspeople valuable gems in exchange for a large supply, and it just so happens that one has just arrived in town...

* ObfuscatingInsanity: Brother Simon has a lot to say about how evil the saucer is, destruction from above, etc. [[spoiler:Turns out he's the one in charge of everything, making wild pronouncements because he knows they won't be believed and will prevent anyone from suspecting his involvement.]]
