Fran in turn sets her sights on Tony by reenacting Creator/MarilynMonroe's "Happy Birthday Mr. President". But Tony, already bored with her by that point, pulls the plug on ever seeing her again.

to:

While waiting for the larger sum, Tony gives Fran in turn sets enough money to get her sights phone turned on Tony by reenacting and pay for her electricity. She spends the money on shoes and a dress instead. She reenacts Creator/MarilynMonroe's "Happy Birthday Mr. President". But Tony, already bored with President," wearing the JFK hat Irina wore in the pilot. This comes after using the same "knight in shining armor" phrase as Irina, and proving herself to be just as shallow. Tony is clearly put off by her by that point, pulls the plug on ever seeing her again.

Nevertheless, in the final scene he describes Fran to his associates as a classy woman who was in a three-year relationship with JFK before being with Tony's father, nearly causing Jackie Kennedy to leave. Johnny Boy's reputation, and therefore Tony's, is more important than the truth.

Chris meets up with his old friend from rehab, J.T. Dolan, who is also a screenwriter. Chris introduces J.T. to a high stakes poker game after losing a sports bet and consequently, J.T. runs up thousands of dollars in debt to Chris and starts missing payments, leading to a severe beating and Chris redirecting J.T. back to rehab.

Tony also comes to terms with the issues he had with both his parents. He realizes Livia's behavior was fueled partly by a hurtful betrayal on Johnny Boy's part. She had a painful miscarriage where she bled significantly. Johnny Boy meanwhile was having an affair with Fran. Worse still, he refuses to accept responsibility by telling her he was at a Yankees game, and forcing Tony to corroborate for him. But he remains resentful towards both. He still feels guilty for his part in supporting Johnny Boy's lies. He also has residual anger from both of them giving away his beloved pet dog, Tippy, to Fran.
